      And it is free - now also with free User Sample Import and free Time Stretching currently in BETA.

    This video kinda blew me away on how powerful the FX modules are as a collective. All you'd need to do is compile an FX-only version of SP and distribute them both as a pair and you'd get a lot more audience from the sheer utility of the FX functions in their own right.

      Yeah this is really weird. I've seen other comments about "just try it yoyeself" but there is no way of getting it. What is going on here?

    I can’t wait to increase the pitch shift on the shimmer reverb whilst morphing between samples!

    Does Soundpaint offer computer keyboard control to trigger sounds? Love it, but don't see any way to do that.

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny you should ask! The next free update to Soundpaint does indeed contain a computer keyboard to trigger sounds! Just a few weeks away.

      @@Soundpaintmusic Small world! Using it with my midi guitars, blending Soundpaint sounds into my guitar sound, playing classical style techniques and repertoire, original music, with effects and simple orchestration along with the guitar. Just brought an expression pedal for Soundpaint into the mix and now I'm in hog heaven. Did I mention I LOVE Soundpaint? :)

    I love that there are presets for each effect. Is it possible for users to save their own?

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely Pat. All User Effects Presets can be saved under each effect. If you notice the DOWN ARROW icon to the right of "PRESETS" - this will take you to the PRESETS browser. Example 12:02 to the far right.

    I have installed Soundpaint free in my computer. I have an old Cubacwe VST 32, as I have created a lot of music in many years. But when I changed Windows 7 OS to Windows 10 64 bit, I got some problems with the instruments and plugins. But I can now use my old Cubase VST 32 again with som compatible tricks.
    But I even have start to test Cakwalk. But I am in that position that I don´t want to start from scratch with a new DAW, because I have to spend hours and weeks to learn all new things. In Cubase VST 32, it is more full speed directly and I can start to record when I get a new idea as I want to test.
    But when I now have installed Soundpaint and wanted to test this fantastic 1928 Steinway, I can´t find it as all other VST instruments I have in every midi track. Is it impossible to use Soundpaint as a VST intrument in some DAW?

    Could you possibly ad a width knob to the individual parts/loaded instruments? Or a second band to the stereowidth effect? Another way would be to give us the ability, to choose, at what points the individual parts enter the effect chain, so you can have the more bassheavy parts enter before the stereo width effect and later on the higher frequency instruments.(that way what be cool for other effect stuff too)
    Are you planing on making a plugin only for the effects? I do like the rain delay a looot :D.
    The eq feels a bit klunky by now. But maybe that's just me.
    I only tried that piano by now and that sounds great. looking forward, to some string and woodwind packs.

    I only found out about Soundpaint a couple of days ago, and now I'm watching all the TH-cam video's. Super inspiring!
    I wanted to know more about Mr Folmann and found the Wiki page. Now it all makes sense where the attention to detail and sound quality comes from. Amazing products, very intrigued and inspired! 😁👍

    Can Soundpaint be used as FX only plugin to affect other synth/samplers sounds?

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The Effects inside of Soundpaint are native to Soundpaint instruments at this point. You can however use the free Soundpaint Editor to import your own synths/samples into Soundpaint.

    Which is 16 voices at once? Effects or total polyphony of sounds? I mean is there any polyphonic limitation of Soundpaint sounds on one instance?

    Is there a way to apply effects to each individual part instead to all parts combined globally?

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. We like keeping it simple. The resolution would be to build by adding an additional instances in your DAW. Its a deliberately choice on our behalf - in terms of preserving simplicity.

      @@Soundpaintmusic In that case it's not a matter of simplicity, I think, but limitations to creativity. This is a strange choice because it is a very basic feature for mixing, you don't put the same amount of effects nor the same effects to each element in a drumkit, for example. I bought some Soundpaint libraries and in a way, I have to admit that I'm very happy with the sound quality of sampling, but on the other way, choices like this one or to have one arpeggiator to rule all parts together is limiting me in terms of creativity and I'm not sure if I'll take other libraries if the soft doesn't evolve in more versatility. I don't believe it would make your soft more complicated, but maybe I'm wrong, or not fitting with Soundpaint philosophy. There is so much potential in this software that it would be sad : )
