I’m pretty sure all of these drivers are sponsored in some way . Some receive free stuff and others partial sponsorship but only 1% are really paid to race.

Yeah they are but they are limited by gas tank size and motor decibels. So they don't modify the motor too much to make sure they can finish the race
I don't think I can get one of those things down the straight at quarter of the speed. Those guys must have the reflexes of a cat!
