Wow! Thank you for your comment. That's the sort of comment I like to get sent. I certainly enjoyed my time in Juneau which lasted for around a week. One of these days I will finish editing my Tracy Arm day trip. Problem for that is knowing what to take out to shorten video length.
Very nice video, well done. I have lived in Juneau for the past 26 years and I still love it. I retired from the Alaska state ferries and ran mostly from Skagway in the north to Bellingham, Wa. and all points in between. That never got old. It changes all the time and you see new sights or old sights differently, so if you've been here before, you still have a lot to see, take it from me.
Mari yo separe mi boleto en el Bliss para el 2020.. Así tengo bastante tiempo para pagarlo y planear mis excursiones.. No hay q soñar solo planear y hacer el sueño realidad..

Oh, Tracey Arm is well worth a visit. It's a day trip. One day I will go back to my rough cut of that and get something to put up on You Tube. At present it's just too long in my opinion.
Well done, kind sir. Your videography and post-production skills are very good. Thank you for uploading and sharing this most beautiful U.S. treasure with us. ~Fran

ERICKS Thank you for your comment. I am sure you will enjoy your visit to Juneau. You may consider traveling on to Skagway for a short visit. That is another step back into the past. I would love to be visiting both places again but my next travels are taking me to the Shetland Islands, Scandinavia and parts of Central Asia. For Skagway see: th-cam.com/video/pufg61t6MEE/w-d-xo.html
I have been to Alaska twice but not Juneau so I think I will be making a third trip in fact I'm going to put the European travel pamphlets I have into the recycling bin.
Sorry but I cannot answer that. It's a few years since I was there and although I was not aware of any homelessness then, times change. I didn't feel unsafe at night though.
@Chell H Hi there. Interesting comment from you and you have obviously not enjoyed your time in Juneau. It is several years now since I made this video and things may well have changed. I spent a week there and stayed in an old hotel right in the centre of town. Except for a bus ride to the glacier and cable up the mountain, I walked everywhere else. Of course I didn't see everywhere but cetainly did get around. I never had any worries day or night Certainly no memory of the sort of things you describe. I found Juneau to be interesting in summer even if full of tourists from the numerious cruise noats arriving each day. I came and went on the government ferry service so did have to get quite a few miles out to the working harbour area. Hope things work out for you.
The scenery is beautiful
I have lived in Juneau for almost 20 years. This video is the best Juneau video I have seen. Great job!

I felt sorry for that bald eagle

Always have to take those pamphlets with a 'grain of salt'. They are out to sell you something.
How's the plague corona virus up there?
Are there any homeless people in Juneau? I live in Fairbanks and it’s ridiculous, I want to feel safe walking at night
Sorry but I cannot answer that. It's a few years since I was there and although I was not aware of any homelessness then, times change. I didn't feel unsafe at night though.

Very good video! I have a better idea of what it's really like, instead of reading a glorified Traveler's book. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video.
