    Excellent images, and interesting challenges for the two films. New viewer/subscriber. Cheers!

    XP-2 has pretty good cloud definition, as though shots are taken through a yellow filter. Yes, 1/125th was too slow and the wind too strong.

    Well living at the North end of that road I can say we get a good breeze and swell too :-) Great set of images from a day I'm envious off 👌

    Wow mate! Lighthouse shots are just incredible! I may have to get a print of that one next time you're in the darkroom.

    Beautiufl photographs Austen. LOL, £5.00 charge for parking in the low season. I guess it must have something to do with the war in Ukraine. PS: I have photographed for over 40 years, and my advice is to use filters sparingly.

    Love the lighthouse shots, those waves looked nasty.

      Thank you ! Which lighthouse pic in particular? I like the first one on the 500 mm although it lacks the sky drama

    Great video Austin and some excellent images. As a local you don't have to pay at Lands End. I've got a locals pass but I think all you do now is show your driving license or some form of proof with an address. I've been there twice this week and they just wave me through. Two days ago was nearly blown off but got some big waves there and Sennen.

    Enjoyed the video, beautiful images. One question: given the wind I would have been concerned about sand and salt spray on the Hassie. Was that of any concern for you?

    • @AustenGoldsmithPhotography
      @AustenGoldsmithPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      The wind was offshore so the spray wasn't headed my way , I do my best to look after the kit but , it's a game of risk and reward !

    Nice shooting
    When incident meetering a such in field depth evenly lit scene it's not necessary to move before the camera, just meter backward behind the camera and it's OK.
    Give it a try, compare and you'll see 😊

    Interesting video, Oz. Were you running the XP2 at 800?
