Question from a non-musician: If I understand correctly, the bass guitar is using standard (EADG) tuning. Yet the bass on the original recordings sounds incredibly deep. Why is that ? Is it simply just a matter of how far forward it is in the mix and/or the way the 'tone' is adjusted ?
