I was front row for their show at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on October 8th, 2008. Will never forget it - I was 17 and COB was my favorite band of all time. They performed my favorite song - Children of Decadence - which is not a song they usually perform live. Was an amazing experience. Front row of a death metal show as a scrawny short white boy. Damn good times

It wouldn't surprise me if the creators of Metalocalypse were inspired by him when they made Skwisgaar Skwigelf. His looks seem like they're based off Alexi Laiho and his accent low-key sounded like his when he's actually calm and not yelling at Toki 😂

Well actually, if you want to hear Alexi sing in Finnish you can check "Kylähullut". It's one of his "side band" and they've recorded one album. It's basically a Finnish punk rock band. Quite fun to listen to. :) ("Paskiaiset" is my fav. :) )
