- Took the Foxx out for some crawling and I got some speed readings on pavement and grass. Truck is all stock and I’m using Bones Brew 30/10 fuel. It is on like the 15th tank of fuel so there’s still a probability that the motor will break in some more and gain a little more speed, very happy with the results nonetheless.

Awesome video and thanks advice. I just bought one and never own an off-road nitro, just on-road (HPI only). Glad to see much positive feedback on this kyosho foxx 2.0, so I should be very happy in a few days when it gets here. Thanks for the video
Did your model arrive,, it’s a fun truck. Engine has plenty power and a nice tone when it’s climbing in rpm. I’m really enjoying it.

MickNiceVtec101, excellent! When you are starting for the first few tanks I recommend loosening the glow plug a half turn or so because the engine is very tight to pull the starter cord. Once it starts up and warms up a tiny bit you can screw the plug back in and continue running the breakin.

I bet you can’t wait to get yours! I’m liking this thing more and more every time I use it. I popped that lower shock mount and didn’t have tools but I planned on getting on the throttle slowly to full speed so that you could clearly hear all 3 speeds come in. When you gun the throttle it goes from 1st to 2nd extremely quick. Thanks for following this Foxx series 👍, I’ll add some more vids in the near future.
Ed RC Yeah, I'll be following what you do. I like your no-BS approach. I have a Nitro Firestorm but it's mad, I had to install a gyro to use on anything other than grippy road.

It was shifting all 3. First to second shift happens very quick, third comes in a bit later.
I got those parts from eBay. I think things are out of stock a lot right now though. You might have to wait.
Is there any difference between this one and the Mad Crusher?
They are exactly the same except the bodies.
30 mph is plenty fast for a truck of that size and weight, not geared really to be a crawler. nitro and crawling don't go well together.
It feels plenty quick for sure. Has a ton of torque. Not much crawling happened, it was more trail riding than anything, throttle response is not fine enough for this for sure 👍
Nitro is more fun, electric is boring.
Agreed my friend! But my next video is a boat and it’s electric 😅. I did own a nitro years ago but because of it not being water tight (outboard o.s. Engine) I did not enjoy it as much. Hopefully you enjoy some brushless boat video!
My Land and air collection is 95% Nitro and Gas. That’s where my heart is at! Thanks for watching
