Just for clarification, he is joking about the homosexual stuff, right? It seems like he is, but he's so deadpan it's hard to tell sometimes. His argument could of course be applied to heterosexuals without children and couldn't for homosexuals who adopt, so obviously it's wrong (or rather, could be better said as people without children have a higher time preference). I like this guy mostly, it would suck if he turned out to be a homophobe.
