This is funny, but quite true - I can say that 85% of my improvement in Starcraft II has come from improving my macro mechanics, 10% from improving my micro, and 5% from improving my build orders and strategies. Right now I am Top 10 Silver, and moving up... and was low-end Bronze a few weeks ago. Learning to expo, build workers constantly, get enough production, and use hotkeys for buildings has made me a much better player.

@staphinfection Practicing won't teach you proper mechanics... Maybe eventually, but not within the time that a pro could teach you. Paying for say... 10 hours of lesson, $500 right? That could be won back if you win 1 tournament
