- Over the past decade the Victorian town of Torquay has seen its population explode, almost doubling as more and more people make the iconic surf town their home.
The influx of new residents has meant more and more people are arriving who need to seek out new community connections in order to stave off the hazards of social isolation.
One community group has turned to the ocean, in the hopes of bringing people from all walks of life together.
