The power of creative education with Ryan Gander

Manchester School of Art alumni Ryan Gander discusses his time studying with us and the impact creativity and creative education can have on society.
Since graduating in 1999, Ryan has established an international reputation through artworks that materialise in many different forms - from sculpture to film, writing, graphic design, installation, performance and more besides. In 2017 he was awarded an OBE for services to contemporary art.
Ryan welcomed us to his studio in Suffolk where Eileen Simpson, Reader in Fine Art, spoke with him on his career and the importance of creativity.
