Great job on the drum! When stitching in white I often use Sulky 12 wt thread, 1 strand is equal to 1 1/2 strands to 2 strands of DMC and the stitches lay in nicely.

If you are concerned about the finish of your snowman… Try 762 (DMC) - it is a very, very very pale bluish white and may pop on your fabric better. I would hate for you to have to start that beautiful stitching over! Good luck with everything!

The quilt pattern is called Our Flag Stands For Freedom by Primitive Gatherings.
The peppermint snowman- try pressing it before you ditch it and see if your stitches look better. White is hard!

Oh how frustrating for you with your Rejoice Evermore piece. I finished that one last fall and it is so pretty framed and on my wall. Yes, get a big piece of fabric and start over. Winter is Past is so pretty...love your finish. That one is on my list to stitch as well. I was working on Land that I Love when I put it aside to start over. I decided that I was stitching it for the last band and why not just stitch it on its own without a border...so that is going to be one of my starts for this year. I had to smile when you said you were done with strawberries. Another reason I made my decision.:)

For your snowman chart, you could outline your snowman with the same color the outlines the snowballs. It make the white stand out. Thank you for sharing your stitches. Have a great weekend.

What a wonderful video my friend! First of all, please thank your entire family for their service. They are all true heroes! Now to stitching - I am stitching so many of the same things as you but the ones I don’t have I now want/need. Especially sweet Shellie’s Birthday start “Be Kind Sampler”. I was going through surgery around that time and I missed it, is it too late to jump in? I just think it’s stunning, especially after seeing your progress! For snowman redo, you didn’t clear say what count the fabric is, but that doesn’t matter. If you’re using two threads go down to one . If that was picture plus fabric their process shrink the fabric. Or tighten up the weave. Just suggestion. I love mine!

Just found you today. We have a few things in common. My daughter is expecting her 4th child anytime but by 2/17 and his name is Grayson. She has 3 other boys ages 4-6 and a 19 yr old step daughter that is my oldest. We are hoping Grayson will be here on 2/13 because that was my mother's birthday and her name was Pearl. I do have another daughter who has 2 kids ages 7 and 6 a boy and a girl. My baby us a boy and he doesn't want to be married or kids though he loves being an uncle. Looking forward to more of your videos😊

Never happy with my stitching at retreats.I cant concentrate like I do at home. Just like I cant stitch and watch floss tube.I can do one or the other but not at the same time. I need total concentration. I would redo snowman because you will ne3ver be happy with the current one.Sorry
