Love your videos - and you're doing some serious mileage on all of them. Where do you take your weather and sea-state information from? I'm new to SIB's (430Excel Vanguard, 15HP Vector). I'll probably be launching mainly from Mudeford, Poole and Swanage but do fancy the longer trips East to Needles and West to Kimmeridge etc. Maybe further if I can obtain good weather and sea-state info. Again, love your videos and the fishing too. Tight lines sir.

I use various websites including this one from the met office coast and sea. www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/specialist-forecasts/coast-and-sea Poole is a great place to launch from because if it’s a bit rough outside the harbour you’ve got plenty to see inside the harbour and not forgetting Wareham. @@123boat Thanks for the link, I'll definitely use it in my planning. Not taken it out yet but hope to during the coming week. Just need to find a willing victim - soz, "crew member" the launch, trip, recovery experience!
@@robclitheroe4551 It will definitely be easier with a willing ship mate to launch your lump 😳 You might already know but Baiter car park slip in Poole has a very gradual slope. Have a great trip out and let me know how it goes. 👍🚤
Another great day out mate! I got my down Gosport yesterday all set up in that heat and the carb was blocked up and it would not run anymore than like 5 seconds... I was so hot I just packed it and in and went home to fix it! So never made it out on mine? Peace Phil, Alton
That's a real shame Phil. It's a lot to setup and be let down. Especially in the heat. Still there is always another time. This trip was on Friday so wasn't as hot..

Are you happy with the Yamaha 9.9 performance on the t38? Is it enough to get it on plane?
