I played a little series of games called "I'm on observation duty". They're games about looking for supernatural anomalies and then reporting them to the ghost police. Holy shit this game is like actually terrifying. Idk what it is about this concept of only being able to observe and report and do nothing else about the situation but it scares me. Good video

@@bigbalticbox well different things scare different people but for me it's the thought of a house, which is normally supposed to be a normal and safe place, just infected with anomalies and intruders and ghosts. If you're not safe in your own house anymore then where will you be? And this house is presumably not even your own house since you're keeping watch on it like a security guard, but still. Mr nixon could be in your living room right now and there would be nothing you could do about it, only report it and pray he leaves

@@crysolidtv I feel like fnaf is different, since you're directly in harms way by being in the facility itself. In this game you're presumably at a whole different location far away from the house. The creatures in the house can't get to you but you still feel very unsafe since it seems like they know you're observing them
@@sapphire.skeletons5016 The whole "find the difference" aspect also draws the viewer into the different scenes and makes you notice the environment better.
It's very sloppily done with the stock models and "fixing anomaly" screens. I also think it would needs more than just "spot the difference" gameplay. But I think this has so much potential.

This is actually a really cool idea for a game. Very SCP for sure, too. Uncanny, analog, and anomalous horror is so cool

You're better than most TH-camrs I see play this game usually TH-camrs take like 10,000 tries you just fail once getting used to the game next try you just beat it
im not even lying, this video somehow gave me the worst nightmare of my life
it was like this game but in VR and free roam, so i had 3 other team mates (dunno nun their names) and we were looking for anomalies and one of them died to an anomaly and directly after he disconnected so that gave a higher sense of urgency. It was only the three of us, we were stuck in the living room because two intruder anomalies were blocking the bedroom (where we report if there is an anomaly) super unfair, i know, but every once in a while another anomaly will walk around the living room (in a circular pattern), so all of us had to hide behind objects, but not be in view of the hallway. The game looked super unfinished, except for the living room, it was decorated but the rest was super empty with only 1-3 objects in a room. The hallway was connected to the bedroom and living room, there wasn't seemly any other rooms in that house. The bedroom was empty except for a unity error text on the wall, although it was off, due to it all looking like complete gibberish, I don't think the bedroom even HAD a bed or anything of note. All of us had nametags, but those were gibberish aswell. I swear I was talking to those teammates, but looking back, I can't recall anything we ever said. The only thing I could recall is me saying "Okay guys, I wanna sleep tonight, bye." then the dream ended.
needless to say, not a big fan of that dream. I have no Idea how i had such a detailed dream.
