    Thank you for this amazing resource! My scoda Octavia has a 6cm gap from the back seats folding. I’m confused how your 13cm boxes level out the plywood across these two areas of the car. Would so appreciate the clarity here 😊🙏🏼

      do you drive the Octavia station wagon? Mine is the hatchback verdion. That gap might be different. If that's the case, try to find lower boxes to support the plywood.

    Hallo gottardo,
    Ich finde deinen Umbau wirklich toll und total unkompliziert. Frugalismus frei nach dem Motto weniger ist mehr kann wirklich eine Erleichterung und damit Verbesserung sein. Toll finde ich auch den Spruch: take what you have and make the best out of it.
    Ich hoffe darauf noch bei einigen deiner Abenteuer dabei sein zu dürfen.

    • @gottardop

      With the plywood the floor is completely flat, as the boxes offset the step. OK, maybe +- 1-2 cm, but you work with more precision than, it gets to be flat.

    Ciao Gottardo, complimenti per il tuo lavoro. Sono stato da poco in vacanza in campeggio, i miei amici col van camperizzato e io con la tenda. Dormire in tenda è sempre bello ma camperizzare in effetti è una soluzione molto interessante. Prenderò spunto da questo video, farò delle misure, e forse il progetto di sta primavera sarà camperizzare la mia octavia wagon :D
    Probabilmente cambierò qualcosa, perché io dovrei ricavare dello spazio anche per la bestia.. se siamo in due a dormire il cane probabilmente non ci sta in mezzo (quando siamo in tenda si piazza placidamente tra di noi, ma giriamo con una tenda da tre) e magari potrei farlo stare davanti nel posto passeggerose non fosse il caso farlo dormire fuori
    Hai idee o suggerimenti al riguardo?

    • @gottardop
      @gottardop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ciao Jack, e grazie per i complimenti :-) Paul Coull ha pure qualche buona idea per Octavia Wagon, un pizzico più confortevole che la mia soluzione ultrasemplice. Cane ... non so, magari una cassa pieghevole da aprire quando necessario e mettere sul sedile del passeggero? Bè, cert dipende anche dalle dimensioni dell'animale. In ogni modo, non mancare di farmi vedere il resultato, se ti ci metti.

    • @jackm_

      oggi ho fatto un giro al brico, madonna quanto costa adesso il legno.. le scatole dove le hai trovate? ho visto qualcosa di papabile ma è 60x40, niente di più piccolo per chiudere bene
      Mi guarderò il video di paul coll, ma non disdegno la soluzione ultrasemplice, sia perché ho la deadline tra due settimane per il primo test, sia perché non penso di farci più di due tre giorni in campeggio, oppure portare la macchina su in montagna e dormire su, quindi una sera e poi si torna casa. Rispetto al tuo progetto però vorrei usare un singolo pannello invece di due, perché tanto tra buttare giù un sedile o tutti e due cambia poco. Dipende ovviamente da se riesco a trovare un 100x100 / 200x100 e il peso effettivo di tutto. Magari pesa troppo e devo abbandonare l'idea del pannello singolo

    • @gottardop
      @gottardop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jackm_ Ciao :-) Certo, perchè non fare singolo pannello. Per me comodo averne due perchè posso usare il sedile posteriore di sinistra per lavorare, cambiarmi, leggere, avere un pò di comfort seduto se piovesse. Ma vero che perloppiù ho entrambi i pannelli in formato letto. Le use le "Rako Box" o "Eurobox" îl peso non dovrebbe porre problemi, sono molto stabili. Qui trovi tutti i formati www.utzgroup.com/en/products-and-solutions/standard-products/stackable-containers/ ma non so per l'Italia

    This is not a problem at all when your car is long enough and you can place a regullar camping bed inside! This way everything is very SIMPLY!!! Try to convert into micro camper something much smaller! Like: Renaut Clio, KIA Picanto, Toyota Aygo and similar... This is a challenge!

      Hi Yens, sorry for the late answer, I was on a bikepacking vacation trip. I have 1.95 on the right and 1.90 on the left. This is by leaving the front seats in normal driving / sitting position.The Superb should be slightly longer, I suppose.

    • @gottardop
      @gottardop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For windshield and rear window I use sun foldable shades like what you can buy at gas stations or accessory stores. In the rear I fix it with velcro. In the rear side windows I have custom shades made for my car model, as you see in my other video. I have no need for shades on the front side windows, I just hang a towel on the front headrests. Feel free to ask if unclear. I'll make a video on the night setup one of these days.
