I was watching this on stream with my friends, we were hyping up Tanasinn winning this tournament, and We’re so glad he did! Great stuff to him.

@@OGSilentMan kinda? He lost a couple of things coming into this version like 50/50 off orbs, combing off unblockables without cs
N I’m not 100% his reset kinda loses to 3d but while he lost all that stuff he’s not bad gained more consistent ways to put orb out n spits out damage
It’s just that I think n who knows maybe other do too that there are characters that can do what he does but better in this version plus having no health in a game with high damage kinda blows
Long story short because of a couple of changes uni2 while still strong he’s a bit different n old Seth mains just been playin new people
This game makes me so mad at how bad the launch went. This was one of my most anticipated games and the launch and sale fiasco just killed it for new players.

@@_Kroaken_ The PC launch was horrible. The game was unplayable. You could not get a game online at all, it would just crash when you'd queue. It took about a week or so to get it working, but with Tekken launchng a few days later, a lot of people ended up playing that instead, and while tekken had issues, they weren't as severe as UNI.
The second issue was the sale. Humble had mistakenly put it on sale for like $10 or something, and it got a lot of people interested in the game again. Once they realized their mistake, they issued refunds and deactivated any codes that were given out. I know a few people felt burnt by that as well even though it was a mistake.
I honestly hated the changes to Phonon, she got nerfed way too much and is now forced to play really slowly with pokes and projectiles in a hyper-aggressive anime fighting game, which sucks. Meawhile Byakuya, Carmine and Linne are still eating good. Maybe I can hope for 1 balance patch every 2 years though?
Phonon is honestly fine because she has a god tier install and she always had a problem with securing her turn. If you want to talk about real nerfs look at Seth with no margin for error and no BS besides basic teles that you can mash him out of. Nerfed command grab damage, increased scaling on it. No follow up after j.214b + orb anymore. nerfed his reversal command grab by A LOT (worse frame data in all aspects) if you offscreen his orb in the corner for pressure it no longer exists. I will admit that Seth had some real unfair BS but a lot of characters have insane tools in this version and Seth lost all of his insane tools except his mobility...seriously why does Eltnum need an air backdash?
I can't believe these guys are top eight. They play so recklessly. Wasting their supers and veil offs like crazy.

It's an online tournament. You could enter it.
While I'm just a reckless potato as they say in the vod. Meter gain is at it's all time highest. 25 meter regain on spend is pretty strong.

The Waldstein/Orie matches were pretty patient and tactical. Same with the Linne matches.
The production is kind of a cut above the strive production IMO, not to knock it because it's all high grade.
This game has no personality at all, all the characters look the same apart from like 2, thankfully this disgust is reflected by the dying fanbase, since this game barely gets triple digit players after a season
