John, I’m really excited. Trooper V’s brother is coming up from Salisbury plain (he’s a challenger tank driver) and is going to take pictures and video of these beauties for me at least the lifeguard ones and the drum horses. ❤ I was worried at first he was the young man who was thrown but thankfully not. I’m glad all of the people harmed by the kerfuffle are doing ok. Glad horse Vida is doing okay hoping Quaker makes it and returns home soon too,
G’day to you, John. Nice view, @ 11:27, of the two beautiful Police horses, seemingly walking along, towing the big Red Bus behind them. Pleasant change from yesterday when the entire horse world looked to be rebelling. Four Trooper in hospital is quite something.
John of all English speaking countries, England, America, Canada and Australia it seems we have our own words for things, like bollards.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 my grandfather came from Leishteshire, and I've always wanted to visit, but now can only visit through videos like yours. Cheers😊
John, we’ve often heard you talk about Trojan who was one of the horses in the incident. Could Velda, the grey, be the one we see often ridden by the Captain. Very upsetting viewing, hope all the people and horses concerned improve quickly.
The two horses that were injured, The Horse Trust, the UK’s oldest equine charity has offered to rehome them if they are unable to to return to military duty. I hope they make a full recovery and the guards and any members of the public involved too.
I'm so glad to hear that, I belong to many horse rescue organizations here in the US, so good to hear if they can't return to duty at least they can live out their horsey years in comfort....❤❤❤❤
I believe the Horse Trust is the organization that the majority of the Household military mounts and police horses go to when they retire - Many military horses also retire to loving families or farms where they become hunt or hacking horses. Some even enjoy the rest of their days with former soldiers they've bonded with. The army has a database of horses who can be bought when they retire. One of the first veterans of both the Boer and First World War was the famous San Toy, who remained with the Trust until his death in 1923.
Sorry to say this, but my own feeling is that school parties should not be allowed at Horse Guards. We have seen far too much bad behaviour and bad teachers and it isn't right. There are FAR too many people there and this can only stress those horses . It seems to be getting out of hand. I think it's high time to start making a charge now.
For everyone asking about the horses and Troopers from the incident on Wednesday , go onto Forces News where there is a full report , Vida the grey has been operated on and is now under observation at Hyde Park Barracks , Quaker was also operated on then transferred to the equine hospital for more specialist care and treatment . Trojan and Tennyson are both well and resting . Troopers are also out of hospital and expected to return to duty soon . There is more , it's always best to get information from a reliable source , in this case the Army than look at reports in the media that are only out for sensationalism .
I've walked past those rubble chutes and the noise startles ME as it bangs noisily down and into the skip! It doesn't matter how well a horse is trained, a sudden, loud rumbling noise like that is terrifying for them. Even police horses can shy at certain sights or sounds. They are horses, creatures of flight. If one runs, the others are likely to follow. Also, people belittled the horsemanship skills of the troopers. I'm sorry but a horse shying violently and unexpectedly sideways with fright can unseat even the most experienced equestrian and "out the side door" you go. It's just the way it is.
Exactly. It's not even the fact that the guard wasn't ready but sometimes the force is impossible to hold. Think nonhorse people don't understand the power of the horse. That said I don't think it was done on purpose. People not used to horses may not understand the danger really loud noises can cause even well trained horses. What a precious moment the horse getting a nose kiss. So glad to hear all troopers are doing well!
@@TracysavedbyChristbusy city though , too many destractions it's not like it was even 50yrs ago too many tourists , traffic , protesters etc is it worth the risk ??
@claregale9011 Well, is England ready to give up horse guards than? With horses there is always risks even in parks or on the farm. Am sure they will analyze what happened and take more precautions. Even just letting a horse run is risky. If the step in a hole or trip, they could seriously damage a leg. But without training no parades and possibly the end of city walks in regard to horse guards. But then one has to ask what will happen to suddenly all those horses too.
I'm an old woman & I just discovered I have tear ducts this week . I've fallen in love with these Guards & their horses thanks to your @LondonCItyWalks.. Thinking of the 2 horses & hope they are able to mend soon. Love from Canada.
You do an excellent job thank you. I find it very odd. People are more interested in taking pictures of themselves then actually appreciating what the horses and the soldiers do. I really don’t like this whole selfie age.
The way the first trooper on the right, keeps reassuring his mount by stroking him and saying 'good boy' to him. is really sweet to see. They really have an affinity with, and love their horses, true horsemen.
2 horses were operated on. 1 is still at Hyde Park, the other was taken to an Equine hospital. They're not sure if the horses will be able to return to active duty or not. The horses had no broken bones, just very bad cuts though. According to the Army press release. Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
@user-dm1pt4ru6e No broken bones. But a lot of cuts and glass was involved. No further update has been made, I've been looking out for one. And they are getting top vet care. They are, after all, the King's horses, by all rights. Best Regards, Jenn 💖
@karenrosgen4586 All the riders are OK, and 2 are back to work. The third is still recovering, but is expected to return to work soon. As are all the horses. Best Regards from a Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
John, reminds me of our Trooper Ellis, who set the standard for military perfection. He was always impressive when he walked but did show compassion for children and elderly tourists. This trooper looks as if he took some lessons from Ellis.
It's all been so tragic, much love from Las Vegas ❤ I'm very elderly, got to do my DNA awhile back and I'm 75% British, the rest Irish! I believe this is why I love watching your channel and learning what I missed! I love the USA, but it's in my DNA!!! Thank you for the knowledge ❤❤❤❤❤
@user-lb3hd7ip4o nice to meet you too, thank you, means so much to me. My ancestors left the Lancaster area in 1741 ending up in the hills of Kentucky.......thank you again
Love seeing that Clydesdale. There is a farm near me that boards them. My brother in law used to have Percheron horses. Thank you for the update on the Kings Guard that were injured, and the horses. Prayers for full recovery for all. Your channel is the best.
@@shirleyfisher8313 when I was 12 my parents and I went to the National Horse Show in Washington DC. All the lights in the arena were turned off. The sound of a train rang out and in a miraculous moment the Budweiser Clydesdale horses and wagon burst into a spotlight! It was a moment of delight in my life 65 years ago.
I’m sure these incidents will be examined in fine detail. Hope we don’t have a blame game. I’m sure there is a sense of unease. Best speedy recovery to horses and troopers.
When I said this on the 😢news channel, people were blaming the horses and the guards and said the builder needs to work and a lot of other stupid things
Hope those two badly injured horses are going to be alright, and the soldiers and civilians, just sickening. The idiotic builders need be investigated.😡
Maybe the guards have been given permission to visit their 2 and 4 legged friends. It must be very upsetting for the whole unit, which train, support and live together in such close proximity.
Thank you John, respect your coverage and honesty. I'm heartbroken hearted for the horses that were injured, heartbroken hearted. I equally feel devastated at the guards and civilization injuries that occurred. Tragedy all round. Thoughts and prayers are with all. Truly.
Hello John, that royal guard is a crowd controller. He walks with intent and lets people know who’s boss of that yard. With the amount of people there, his footsteps are heard. Well I can hear it. His steps, Heal toe heal toe and loud. 👍🏽 💯 Did you see at the end one of the 2 females jumped when the guard stomped his foot? 🌞 she then went to check him out. One wouldn’t want to be claustrophobic with the amount of tourists. Very sad about the guards and horses yesterday., prayers for a full recovery on all involved🙏🏾. See you had Queenslanders to talk to 😀. Thanx for sharing
Rarden is back ! (Correct spelling! Its the english accent where you cant hear the middle r ). Named after the British Armed Forces military 30mm autocannon used as a combat vehicle weapon. ** I added this for all the new viewers ** Rarden is a force for sure! Enjoy.
In light of everything that has happened with the other Horses it was so nice to see this Horse connecting with people and seeking attention also the older lady kissing the Horse was precious. The Guard is attentive periodically patting the Horse and rubbing his neck.
What a fantastic Trooper!!! Congratulations to this young man!!! 🥰🥰🥰 That policeman is on it today!!! 😂😂😂 Hoping all the horses, troopers and civilians make a full recovery. ❤❤❤ Thank you John for all you do, you are a pleasure to watch...and listen to!!! 🤗🤗🤗 xxxxx
Saying prayers for troopers, horses and pedestrians who were injured. What the heck is going on? It can not be a coincidence. Thanks John for your professionalism doing these videos.❤
Of course it can be a coincidence - and it probably is. That’s much more likely than a conspiracy, where so many people are in the know and must be paid off. “Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.” (Hanlon’s razor)
Gatesman is fantastic! Everybody would stop in awe really. They were speechless. Lol! I would love to see the rest of the guards get back to the way they were when they were firm and didn't put up with the tourists shenanigans. I understand why they quietened down, people would do things to make them yell. But the disrespect has got way out of hand, so they need to do something.
I watched a video yesterday of the troop falling and you could not see his face until they walked him in. I marked the accident in hopes TH-cam doesn't recommend the channel to me again. Thank you and your friends for respecting the troops privacy
I wonder if it's the one I saw with the title saying the horse " collapsed " I tore them of a huge strip about that and their lack of respect for the Trooper . Can't find it now so it might have been removed .
It could have been. Once I notice the troopers face I makes the channel not to be recommended anymore. Most of channels videos seem to be ok, but not when you put the troopers at risk or try to make fun of them. Riding a horse is not simple and the troopers are doing it 1 handed. Plus everyone at some point gets removed from their horse, it is all part of riding. The only thing that should matter is that they are both ok.
Hello John from Australia - Maybe, being Clydesdale, the police horse is named Andy after Saint Andrew patron saint of Scotland. This gatesman means business, get out of the way or else, just what some of these people need.
Unbelievable, how these guards do a balancing act every day, and yet the day is good (except yesterday, but not their fault). One hand on the sabre, one on the reins... controling the continuous movements of the horse. Huge salute. Stay safe and blessed always, beautiful horses and brave guards.
The names of the 2 horses that ran the 6 miles were Vida, the grey who ran into the bus, and Trojan. Quaker was the other horse operated on along with Vida. Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦

Hoping for news on Vida (spelling) and Quaker. And the life guard that was thrown on the Parade ground. Also hope the 3 troopers are out of hospital. Agree with previous comment you are the only 1 I trust for news John. Just seenyour post they are out of hospital. Bet they got bags of attention 😊
So glad to hear that the troopers are ok and out of hospital and that the horses that were injured are recovering. I hope Quaker recovers from his surgery and can return to Horse Guards. After watching your video’s and the commentary we have all learnt so much about these beautiful horses and the guards.
Evening John! There is no stopping idiots it seems and no matter what signs are put up or what is said and done there are always gonna be people who act stupid doing whatever. I also love this trooper that was really funny and I like how hes just like get out of my way man and not afraid to yell! Looking forward to more of him yelling in the future. Have a good day everyone!
Trugg and Andy, especially Andy, are just stunning. Clydesdales are so large but usually very much gentle giants...... though you don't want to get one of those feathered legs/hooves landing on top of your foot.
Seemingly it was a very large thing of concrete being dropped off at the Palace that startled the horses! It was dropped on the ground, & I wouldn't be surprised if it was felt by all horses in the surrounding area, putting them all at unease at all other big/sudden noises that day! Combined with St. George's Day celebrations the day before! My nerves would be shot too if I was a horse! Awesome statement from the policeman - *You'd think you were at Disney....instead of a 6ft mouse, you have a 6ft 1 policeman shouting at you!*. Love it!
That was the best statement wasn't it , I nearly dropped my coffee 😂😂😂 . The " Viking " officer with the beard told a group some time ago " if you don't want to be trampled by a horse MOVE "
Quote of the day......."That is how Peasants used to be dealt with in the middle ages...with a firm hand and sharp blade". I always pick up phrases in these videos that continue to live on throughout the day, if not weeks! Very good to see the people move...respect for the guard!
The Gatesman is not new John. Maybe you can remember him without the mustache or with a tiny one. There are a few video's of him shouting to the tourists that they must go back from the arches. He's good at it.😅
What idiot drops a concrete block from a height to land just as horses were passing by. If that was done deliberately then whoever did it has a lot to answer for. I noticed the Daily Mail was using your footage on TH-cam of the guard being thrown - presumably the best they could find. We couldn’t see just what spooked that horse but it’s understandable why the others immediately became unsettled. Horses are herd animals - if one gets spooked then they all do till they know there’s no imminent danger. I hope, like the others who were injured, he’s OK. You were right not to get too close to the incident - there’s no need for ghoulish sensational images and close ups of an injured person, no matter who they are. All that mattered was that the guard - and the horse - were OK. Those Albert helmets may look spectacular but they’d afford very little head protection in a fall given that they’re only held in place by a loose chin strap and it’s more than likely they’d fly off - especially when the chin strap is worn under the nose. Andy is truly majestic with his high stepping enormous hooves and feathered legs. The most nerve -racking thing about riding a Clydesdale is just how far off the ground you are when in the saddle most being at least 18hh. But once up there it’s smooth ride - they’re extremely sure footed and don’t spook easily.
Another fascinating day. The crowd is unbelievable as each have their photos taken with the Horses and Guards. Plus your commentary that causes smiles along the way. The Gatesman is doing his job and I take my hat off to him. Thank you John: Kiwi
Just as the horses bolted with the noise I fear when these people run up to the horse guard to take pictures to eventually we will see the same thing these people act as tho they have never been around horses it's like a petting zoo or like they are petting a dog or rubbing a cat and not a thousand pound horse ,the horses can bite at them and they move right back into position
I have just read that a ‘Whistleblower’ had said the horses are treated badly and have dirty water to drink, also that they are exercised for only one hour. Those horses are beautifully turned out so there is no way this is true. Why do people do this
There's always at least one idiot who has no knowledge and has probably never seen a horse in real life ! Likely because they spend their lives behind a keyboard in their bedroom !
These horses wouldn't work if they were treated badly. The behind the scenes video that John has from the Elizabeth Cup stuff completely disproves the so called whistle-blower wrong.
I saw a couple of phone videos from the tourists that were uploaded to TH-cam that showed the Trooper that was thrown . It shows the horse fell also, then got up and moved off. I don't think it fell on the Trooper. Unfortunately, someone else also took a good shot of the Trooper's face. I wish all the Troopers and their mounts a good recovery. By the way I have followed you for the last few months, excellent videos all the more as I have always loved the Blues and Royals and Life Guards from young on and I would never otherwise have the opportunity to see them in real life. Thank you.
Oh John have you seen Buska’s video of Rarden and the “horse trainer” 😂😂😂 Great video today. Love that Gatesman very young looking but very self assured and determined to do his duty fantastic
I was about to mention that video , watched it several times . Rarden warned her , she thought waving her finger at her would stop it , no Rarden picked her up by the scarf and shook her 😂😂😂. What did she " train " My Little Pony 😂😂😂
I just went and watched it, I nearly peed myself. The funniest thing I've watched, and from her and her friend to boast that she's a horse trainer 😂 she got put in her place. I honesty don't believe she's a trainer and if she is god help the poor horses she works with 😢
Not only were learning more each day about the guards & horses but also about the cultures of the tourist which is also interesting. Thanku john. Hope the horses and guards made a full recovery 🙏
2:40 - 🤔 Did someone lose their fairy, because there's one running around loose in London?! 🧚♀ ~~~ Those Police horses, Trugg and Andy, are just gorgeous! ~~~ That trooper is awesome at his job! I love when he said: "move" without having to yell, and it spoke volumes! I was actually about to move myself! 🤣🤣
I saw a video where the trooper was thrown can’t be sure if the horse landed on him or not. But I do like your video better as you didn’t want your viewers to see it. Much more respectful. Hoping all the troopers and horses are getting better
Good afternoon John. Thank you for the updates on the troopers and horses. Good to hear they are all ok. This first black horse I don’t know either. There is another one that has a small moon shape star that you haven’t been able to identify. Mystery continues 😊
John, I did see your video and hear your voice on Daily News post and commented that I hope they gave you credit. You cover everything accurately and fairly. Thank you.
Hi jon. Brilliant filming today..cant believe how busy it is. Yu do an amazing job in your tutorial everday. Radan is a lovely horse and loved how the guard waz watching the horse so closely.
I think people forget these horses are not trained as the police horses are to cope with sudden noises like shouting/drums/flags in their faces and megaphones, plus they are more highly strung so anything can frighten them in an instant. It may even be something small like a strange smell or a flappy bit of paper that can set them off. I hate to see so many people pawing at them especaily their faces must be so annoying. I commend all the troopers for the way they handle them in most distressing situations but sometimes that is not possible when a huge horse goes into flight mode. I hope and pray that all Troopers and horses will be fine at the end of the day.
The horses are trained to deal with the city noises. That’s why they do those training rides through the city. They were just on a quiet street when the stuff went banging down the chute.
Of course they are trained to deal with noises - in fact they were on a training exercise when the incident occurred. They need to cope with drums, trumpets, shouting, flags etc - all the usual military stuff - as well as traffic and street noises etc. Expecially the grey who is likely to be a regimental trumpeters mount. But a sudden noise such as rubble falling into a skip from a height right at the side of it would spook any horse - no matter how well trained they are. And, being flight animals if one goes the rest follow.
It was a combination of it being an otherwise quiet street, a VERY loud noise very close to them, and it being utterly out of the blue that surprised the horses. In those circumstances, all the desensitisation training in the world won’t help.
Hi John, just watch you to video inside the Barrick, what a delight to watch, you where so luck to be invited, do hope you injoy it as much as i did watching it, Thank you
I'm so glad you addressed The question of why this all happened with the horses... I can't help but think electronics has something to do with it... People are so close to these horses and there are so many people with different kinds of electronics on them that we can't hear.. but animals hearing is much more sensitive... It might be time to put some kind of ear plugs on the horses and the other thing that always concerns me is people come in contact with all kinds of things by touching them and then they go and let the horses smell their hands and it's sensory overload... I know having access to the horses is a big deal, but maybe it's time to slow that down
Earplugs are brilliant for horses, I brought some for my two horses for the new year because where I live they fire off so many fireworks and my horses panic. This year they was so calm wearing their earplugs. They can still hear but it muffels out the loud noises.
Lovely to get Andy identified. Came face to face with him outside Charing X a few weeks back, thought for a moment it was a bloomin' Shire! Also, the last few moments of this video an absolute delight. Great to see one of the lads doing it 'old style' again.
Andy wears a Size 6 or 7 shoe!! It's a huge shoe, John!! About 5 inches across at the widest point!! Just some more useless information for you!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
According to the Daily Mail one year ago, an article talks about animal activists planning to use rape alarms around the Kings horses to make them bolt.
Good morning John..11am, pt. Here in BC, Canada...you are about 10 hrs ahead of me. TFS...the news on our Troopers..wishing those injured a speedy recovery. My morning coffee is tasteless without watching beautiful London...
I hope and pray for the Troopers and horse that were hurt in this incident. Also the public that were involved. I am glad we have someone like you John who let us know the true and what's going on. Not these grow out to start problem and try to to make these Man and Women of your country Military look bad. Former US Army paratrooper. ❤😊
I just hope that the tourists at least TRY to have a little empathy today. All the horses are going to be upset and on edge because ALL the troopers 2 and 4 legged will be jumpy after this morning. Horses pick up emotional states and it’s gonna take a while for things to settle. I’m hoping Vida and Quaker recover…..poor things, even if they do, it’ll be a long road. It was lovely to see that lady kiss the horse tho, and it made the trooper smile too, and something to smile at is sorely needed today, methinks. I see in the comments most people bar a few die hards, are more concerned with hoping the affected horses and troopers are well, rather than playing the “blame game”. The fact was, the builders made a mistake, whether thru ignorance or carelessness, and it had far reaching consequences, but blaming them is unfair without the full story, just as trying to blame HCav is. Oh man what a pair of gorgeous police horses, Trugg and Andy…..what great names(a trug is a wooden basket, but I suspect he’s named more for the sound….pretty sure the officer said t r u g g not t r u g) Clydies are great horses, btw, and surprisingly given their size are a REALLY successful cross with lighter breeds for jumping disciplines. The Clydie mixture seems to give real scope and sure footedness to the progeny. I really wish the media would stop using the term “rampage” as it has connotations of a deliberate action. Those horses were panicked and running, because they were SCARED. Not because they were trying to hurt anyone, just trying to get away. That gatesman really didn’t have much choice…..there was no other way thru the ignorant tbh.
The trooper that got thrown was probably lucky they're wearing cuirasses now - I saw footage that was filmed from the other side of the grounds and it looked like the horse landed on him.
@judithmarshall3350 it's their summer uniform which they don't wear under their cloaks. If it had been a couple weeks earlier, then it would have been their number 2 uniform (the brown one) under their cloak I believe.
I am appalled that people aren't respecting what happened and kept away to allow everyone to recover from this terrible accident. There must be so many guards and horses still trying to recover from the shock of what happened.
Another great video John, always the professional Gentleman, my prayers are still for the Troopers, Horses and the member of public, I hope the 2 most seriously injured horses pull through. xx❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

We’ve had a horse with a bad cut. They heal remarkably well with vet care but broken bones are a different matter.
@user-dm1pt4ru6e No broken bones. But a lot of cuts and glass was involved. No further update has been made, I've been looking out for one. And they are getting top vet care. They are, after all, the King's horses, by all rights. Best Regards, Jenn 💖
🙏 ✝️ 🙏 Healthy washed to horses and anyone else injured, didn't see anything regarding riders?
@karenrosgen4586 All the riders are OK, and 2 are back to work. The third is still recovering, but is expected to return to work soon. As are all the horses. Best Regards from a Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Thank You for info.
🙏 ✝️ 🙏
Hats off to the Gatesman for an excellent display of command & respect. You are a role model to your peers. Well done, Trooper!👌
Welcome Brit nice to meet YOU 😄🇬🇧😄🇺🇸😊
@user-lb3hd7ip4o nice to meet you too, thank you, means so much to me. My ancestors left the Lancaster area in 1741 ending up in the hills of Kentucky.......thank you again
Always good to hear from our American cousins. I'm very proud of our military & traditions. The Horse Guards are magnificent.
@Debbie-xs5em I'm very very proud too!! I'm so happy to learn about the traditions! Much love back to you all!!
Love seeing that Clydesdale. There is a farm near me that boards them. My brother in law used to have Percheron horses.
Thank you for the update on the Kings Guard that were injured, and the horses. Prayers for full recovery for all. Your channel is the best.
Check out the Budweiser (A beer company) Clydesdale in US famous for beauty and being in Parades all over the country. Impressive!!
Wow this gatesman is seriously impressive! So proud of all our Troopers. Another great video as always thank you.
I’m sure these incidents will be examined in fine detail. Hope we don’t have a blame game. I’m sure there is a sense of unease. Best speedy recovery to horses and troopers.
The workers may also feel horrible,
Cant believe the builders dropped something from a height when horses were passing, hope the health and safety pays them a visit.
It was likely an extremely unfortunate accident, but the HSE will definitely be paying very close attention to precisely what happened.
When I said this on the 😢news channel, people were blaming the horses and the guards and said the builder needs to work and a lot of other stupid things
All animals sence when other animals are in distress
Good afternoon john sending horsey hugs to those poorly horses and guards too those builders are total idiots
Why are tourists allowed to keep mauling these horses ?It's wrong.😢
I love how he keeps to a straight line, sharp right and left turns in the middle of the yard, brisk walking...clear voice, everything
Hope those two badly injured horses are going to be alright, and the soldiers and civilians, just sickening.
The idiotic builders need be investigated.😡
I'm from Australia, not the UK yet this makes me proud to be part of the British Commonwealth.
Yes, it's part of your heritage.
Did you see at the end one of the 2 females jumped when the guard stomped his foot? 🌞 she then went to check him out.
One wouldn’t want to be claustrophobic with the amount of tourists. Very sad about the guards and horses yesterday., prayers for a full recovery on all involved🙏🏾.
See you had Queenslanders to talk to 😀.
Thanx for sharing
Rarden is back ! (Correct spelling! Its the english accent where you cant hear the middle r ). Named after the British Armed Forces military 30mm autocannon used as a combat vehicle weapon. ** I added this for all the new viewers ** Rarden is a force for sure! Enjoy.
Thanks for that. I'm not a new viewer but am pleased for the history and spelling of the name. Cheers from a kiwi 😊
@KiwiGirl1 You're welcome. Gotta luv the Kiwis. Fond sailing memories.
That policeman is on it today!!! 😂😂😂
Hoping all the horses, troopers and civilians make a full recovery. ❤❤❤
Thank you John for all you do, you are a pleasure to watch...and listen to!!!
GET BACK!!! Big Respect for that trooper in the last few minutes of this vlog, He put the tourists in their place! 😂♥️🇬🇧🏴🇨🇮🏴🏳️🌈
Prayers up for guards and hhorses.
Quaker, not Quantum, is the most seriously injured horse. I do hope both will be ok.
@@heatherharvey3129 Thank you for that correction. I knew it started with a Q, and I'm at work, so I couldn't look it up to be sure. But it's much appreciated!! Best Regards, Jenn 💖
@@jenniferlehman326 Pleasure, Jennifer, as you always post such informative comments - much appreciated by me, and others I'm sure.
@heatherharvey3129 I always appreciate a correction when I'm wrong. I'm glad you did. I corrected it in my statement!! But I really do appreciate the way you told me as well. It was withn so much respect. And that's what I appreciated the most. So, thank you again. Jenn 💖
I thought 5 horses were loose
Hoping for news on Vida (spelling) and Quaker. And the life guard that was thrown on the
Parade ground. Also hope the 3 troopers are out of hospital. Agree with previous comment you are the only 1 I trust for news John. Just seenyour post they are out of hospital. Bet they got bags of attention 😊
You are so far the best vlogger who shows the Horse guards and the Cavalry in the most amazing way with good info as well as humor👌
I am completely hooked on your channel! Thank you! You Brits put out the best videos! Much love from Ohio.
So glad to hear that the troopers are ok and out of hospital and that the horses that were injured are recovering. I hope Quaker recovers from his surgery and can return to Horse Guards. After watching your video’s and the commentary we have all learnt so much about these beautiful horses and the guards.
You have a great amount of respect for the horses and soldiers I commend you on your integrity
That gatesman is amazing. That’s how to do it. Brilliant stuff. Thanks for another great video
Yup, being stepped on is by far the biggest danger with Clydies.
@@kathellison8084
Yeah, wasn’t that just the BEST announcement from that officer……and given with the best British deadpan delivery🤣🤣🤣 I was in fits
Love the police saying the comment about think your at disney instead of a 6ft mouse you have a 6ft policeman shouting at ya ❤❤❤❤ well done that man
That Gatesman is absolutely perfect - commands respect from all the tourists. A joy to watch . 👏
Quote of the day......."That is how Peasants used to be dealt with in the middle ages...with a firm hand and sharp blade".
I always pick up phrases in these videos that continue to live on throughout the day, if not weeks!
Very good to see the people move...respect for the guard!
That gatesman is awesome. The tourists look terrified. Hahaha😂
What is this a fashion show? So glad she point to the horse, I would have missed the 1200 pound animal if she hadn’t pointed him out🤪
Top marks for the Guardsman..very impressive ..
Another fascinating day. The crowd is unbelievable as each have their photos taken with the Horses and Guards. Plus your commentary that causes smiles along the way. The Gatesman is doing his job and I take my hat off to him. Thank you John: Kiwi
Great job by the Chitsman! Well done young man, brilliant.
🐎 Horses get well soon 🐎 And injured 🇬🇧 Guards too 🍺🇬🇧⚘😄
Just as the horses bolted with the noise I fear when these people run up to the horse guard to take pictures to eventually we will see the same thing these people act as tho they have never been around horses it's like a petting zoo or like they are petting a dog or rubbing a cat and not a thousand pound horse ,the horses can bite at them and they move right back into position
I have just read that a ‘Whistleblower’ had said the horses are treated badly and have dirty water to drink, also that they are exercised for only one hour. Those horses are beautifully turned out so there is no way this is true. Why do people do this
Idols
Bot!
Because they have nothing better todo.Sad lives!
Thank you.
Oh John have you seen Buska’s video of Rarden and the “horse trainer” 😂😂😂
Great video today. Love that Gatesman very young looking but very self assured and determined to do his duty fantastic
I was about to mention that video , watched it several times . Rarden warned her , she thought waving her finger at her would stop it , no Rarden picked her up by the scarf and shook her 😂😂😂. What did she " train " My Little Pony 😂😂😂
yes lol she’s lucky she didn’t lose her finger
😂one does not tut tut with raised finger at Rarden☝️, because that horse will turn that finger back on you🖕and teach you not to sass your betters🤣
I just went and watched it, I nearly peed myself. The funniest thing I've watched, and from her and her friend to boast that she's a horse trainer 😂 she got put in her place. I honesty don't believe she's a trainer and if she is god help the poor horses she works with 😢
Absolutely love this gatesman . No nonsense attitude is so nice to see. John love your channel. Have a great day from Atlanta, Georgia USA.

I saw a video where the trooper was thrown can’t be sure if the horse landed on him or not. But I do like your video better as you didn’t want your viewers to see it. Much more respectful. Hoping all the troopers and horses are getting better
If it's the same one I saw definitely looked like the horse landed on him

Horse kissing, spectacle jokes, picture taking and amazing gatesman. Great video! Thank you.
Good afternoon John. Thank you for the updates on the troopers and horses. Good to hear they are all ok.
This first black horse I don’t know either. There is another one that has a small moon shape star that you haven’t been able to identify. Mystery continues 😊
Clydesdales are Scottish draft horses that first appeared in the early 19th century. They were used in the WW1, which severely depleted their numbers.
Filmed 24.04.2024....Part 2 of 2.
Thank you and Stay Safe John😎
Kudos navigating the crowds today ,John. I think they're all here to see you🎉❤🐎
You can see that the soldiers love all the horses
Hi John, just watch you to video inside the Barrick, what a delight to watch, you where so luck to be invited, do hope you injoy it as much as i did watching it, Thank you
New or not...that is one handsome gatesman 😊 ❤
There is an excellent piece about H Cav and the incident on Forces news by an ex trooper. Really informative
Love him he definitely doesn’t stand for any PARC 😂 from Anyone .
I know having access to the horses is a big deal, but maybe it's time to slow that down
Absolutely this. It's time for a no physical contact rule to be applied to both Troopers and their horses.
Earplugs are brilliant for horses, I brought some for my two horses for the new year because where I live they fire off so many fireworks and my horses panic. This year they was so calm wearing their earplugs. They can still hear but it muffels out the loud noises.
It truly amazes me how these people still go up for a photo even though police are asking all to move back 🙄
Love the peasants treatment comment 😂
Lovely to get Andy identified. Came face to face with him outside Charing X a few weeks back, thought for a moment it was a bloomin' Shire!
Also, the last few moments of this video an absolute delight. Great to see one of the lads doing it 'old style' again.
That must have been an experience , face to face with massive Andy , he's gorgeous , those feathers on his legs 😊😊
Horses are more intelligent than people realise. If trained horses get spooked there will be a reason😊
Love it!! MOVE!😅
John are those in hospital going to be ok? My prayers are with all injured.😢

Yes, I've seen updates on the horses but no mention of the troopers or civilian.

I think you are right. I thought he did too
I thought they wore breast and backplate already or am I wrong?
@judithmarshall3350 it's their summer uniform which they don't wear under their cloaks. If it had been a couple weeks earlier, then it would have been their number 2 uniform (the brown one) under their cloak I believe.
Just found your videos, love your commentary on some the rude clueless people 😊
