Dude has eclectic taste in music. And is a very interesting person. I know, duh, right?

If his choices here are representative, then he has in fact precisely the opposite of eclectic taste. He chooses from an extremely narrow and circumscribed palate. Every single selection is a pop song from the late rock era, intentionally or unintentionally musically and lyrically crude. There is no instrumental music, no classical, jazz, country, folk, bluegrass, electronic, Broadway, no real Indian or ethnic music of any kind. We have recorded music written from the year 1000, and Brand doesn’t seem to chosen anything that predates 1980 or so.

When I clicked on this I expected to hear "I wanted a sweet sonic sonnet that hath caressed my soul on many a deathly stimulus, so I've picked Shoot the runner by Kasabian". And I have to say, apart from Nick Cave, I wasn't TOO far off.

you were waaay off! nick cave was probably the closest it came to your presumption - and even that's way off!

@ktrout171, one of the many differences between you and RB is that he creates and you just copy and paste which suggests a large amount of jealousy on your part.
