I have been on a keto diet for a year and a half and I feel great, I love it. My husband started it about 6 months ago and he feels better too. I have lost 44 pounds and want to loose about 11 more.
The American Indians used to survive the entire winter on pemmican. Which was simply a 50/50 mixture of dried bison and bison tallow. Protein and fat. There was no scurvy because the bison were totally grass fed and provided all the vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids that we need. Todays beef wouldn’t be as good because they are grain fed. But you are totally correct. Great video.
Sometimes they put a small amount of Saskatoon berries. But only like 5%. Later other things were added to improve the flavor more for the white man. You can get as creative as you like. But pemmican makes a great trail/camping food. Oh one more thing. You can look up a document called "the pemmican manual" . It will give you the actuall recipe and some good history.
I live in Ohio, where it is currently snowing...no citrus trees here! Alternatives would be to sprout wheat grass and juice it, or make a tea from white pine needles. I also grow lemon and lime trees in my living room!!!
@janp7660 Hi! Meyer lemon trees don't get very tall...maybe 4 feet, same with the limes and a dwarf pomegranate. Each is in a large planter that goes outside in the spring as soon as temperatures are above 40 degrees at night (or I cover them up with blankets!). I bring them inside before the temperatures are below 40 in the fall. They usually get pollinated from being outside. Sometimes they bloom more when I bring them in, so I take a Q-tip or small paintbrush and hand pollinate them. If you buy small trees, it could take 3 or 4 years before you get fruit. My dwarf orange grew 34 cutie oranges, the lemon currently has 11 growing and the pomegranate only has 4, but it's the first year for it. A grow light would help, but mine are all just in the living room window. Good luck!

I've read that black beans are the most nutrient dense. I've also read that any legume, mixed with rice, will provide a complete protein. I'm not a nutritionist, though, so please do your own research.
@christyassid8871 Black beans and the small red beans have the most highest protein content compared to other beans.
Are kipper snacks as good as sardines?
Up date, I am taking fermented pills and a collagen 1235and 10 is this the right path .? I also have a 16 oz smoothie a day
Please post some good canned meat sources besides fish, since I’m highly allergic to it…thanks!
Keystone meats! Expensive but excellent quality. I just buy 1-2 cans every shopping trip.
what are you thoughts on TVP ?
I don't know I've seen a lot of Alone episodes where they ate nothing but fish and lost too much weight and had to be pulled out due to health issues.
Not enough calories or fat in fish. One would have to eat a lot of fish and not be very active. Even fatty fish you'd need a lot of to survive long term in my opinion.
Now I’m just asking, in your opinion what is the best olive oil to consume for health benefits? Just in your opinion. Just asking?
Lost 45 lbs in 8 months dropping ultra processed foods and breads, going essentially keto.
I listen to all of your videos and feel connected to every one of them. This video is for me personally. I wish I could hear God. With no one and nothing on earth, why does God keep me here? I wish there were more videos like this.
God obviously has something foray you still to do here on earth. Read the Bible and draw close to Him. He loves you so.
Read the gospel of John in the Bible. First Corinthians 15:1-4. The book of Genesis to start. There are so many promises God gives us in the Bible.🙏
You're comment makes me sad. God does have a reason. Have you tried getting out around people such as groups, hobby groups, senior citizen groups, church, etc? Maybe you have a talent or skill that others would benefit from? Or maybe volunteer work? You can be out helping others which helps us feel better at the same time. Best wishes for you.
@@janp7660 Your kind words of support and thoughtful suggestions are truly appreciated. Thank you very much for your comments. I can't tell you how much your kindness means to me. You took the time to reach out to a complete stranger. Thank you so much.
@@aprilromero371 Thank you for your comment. Reading your words touched my heart. Thank you.
Im Carnivore…Meat(fat) is all I need
You go girl, same here.
I love keto!
Has to be diabetic friendly. No rice unfortunately. I love meat!!!
All these people talking about losing 50+ lbs.
It's not the keto, it's the fact you were overweight and finally stuck to a diet that wasn't full of junk.
(And that's why you feel great. Keep looking after yourself)
Eggs all the amino acids you need and
100% bio absorbable✌️🇺🇸
Beans and rice too
Carnivore/keto all the way! It’s great how amazing my body feels without all the carbs ✨
There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate!
More videos on education of Americans and their terrible diets. Nutritional healing. Less dependency on big pharma.

We don't do beef anymore. Difficulty to digest.
How about poultry and pork ?
Spam would give plenty of fat and protein. What say you ?
