I hadn't listened to Whitesnake for about 30 years but this interview has rekindled my interest in the group. Great interview, very funny stories and insight. David still has so much passion,, really infectious enthusiasm. I just listened to the new Blues album by Whitesnake and it is really, as David would say, "KICKASS"
Love all these guys... David's a crack-up story teller! Many, many singers are. And, 'hear, hear' on the looking your best for stage! People pay to hear AND SEE you!
Absolutely fabulous, thank you so much. Can you imagine what it would be have been like if you had been in the same room.😁 All the best to you as always, can't wait for the next one and Lockdown Licks.
Another amazing interview gents. Great that it's just s conversation about his history and not an album promotion. Coverdale is a Machine, he could be sitting on his arse, but he keeps pushing himself. This is such a fantastic podcast, thank you. #JohnSykes co-wrote all the 1987 album, he deserves as much credit for the album's success as DC. Amazing, Coverdale, Smokie Robinson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar 🤣 great interview.
I admit I had to go and google pics of David Coverdale to know what he actually looks like...I just remember some sort of big hair. Anyway, I still wouldn't recognise him in the street but...What a lovely bloke!!!
I was at that Liverpool Empire gig and David was exactly right in his description of the gig. Baffling at the time. Apart from that, please remember to listen to others once in a while David. You can give the impression that you are a narcissist if you're not careful. 🙂
Love Coverdale. Come taste the band - Still of the night - Here I go again. So maligned by the contrary, fickle English music press. Here's a song for ya!
David Coverdale Is wonderful. He's got a great personality.
Another excellent episode. And it's just so sweet to see that everyone who's worked with Guy seems to adore him.

Great interview. I was lucky enough to see Whitesnake's first tour at Hammersmith Odeon and it was a fucking brilliant night!
Bloody marvellous.
Excellent

One of the funniest interviews I've ever heard. He's like the British Christopher Walken!

I never heard the word Fucking so much
He is real!
Hard to listen to Coverdale for more than 30 mins, draining. 😂
He is funny.
Too many ads, gave up listening... Shame
Some serious mudhuttery happening in this interview.
