Beautiful 💙 Metallic and Blue ✨ Swipe Painting! | Acrylic Pouring | Fluid Art

- I did another swipe painting today using metallic and light blue paint and I'm loving the result! I decided to experiment with consistency here to find out how thin the paint needs to be to easily flow across the canvas without compromising the lacing. For this one I went very thin, making my paints only slightly thicker than my dutch pour consistency, which is 60:40 paint to water. When I drizzled the paint off the stir stick into the cup, it barely made the smallest mound and immediately disappeared. It turned out to be a little too thin but I'm happy I did the experiment. I always want to keep learning and not be afraid to try new things. I also smudged the painting and showed how to do a touch up. I like to be honest about the process and sometimes that means not editing out accidents!

RECIPE:
Amsterdam Paint - Titanium White, Oxide Black, and Sky Blue Light
Pebeo Paint - Gold and Copper
Black, gold, Blue and copper - mix with pouring medium mixture 1:1, then add water to thin.
Pouring Medium Mixture - Golden Medium Gloss to Creative Inspirations Gloss Medium/Varnish 70:30
White - Mix with Australian Floetrol 1:3
