one thing i noticed from hololive, they are too hell-bent on the idol talents, they dont want to try make a different segment where talents are allowed to be specialized in different area like esport. hololive has gamer group but they are not really a hardcore gamer like aqua. in the same time i think aqua is not really specialized on the singing and making music segments like suisei. so when a talent like aqua wanted to move in certain direction a bit different from others, the company cannot allow that.

the time when hololive want to open segment branch for hardcore gamer talents like vspo, it will be too late because the majority of viewers who are into esport vtuber already go to specific place. that is also why holostars has problem growing, because the viewer market already goes to nijisanji for male livers

Ah yes, i remember Cover Corp created HLZNTL, a hololive brand for esports, and Aqua didn't join, and really strongly against it. I know there's a meme that people who like to shit on hololive doesn't watch holo, but common guys,
Even Aki does more gaming than idol now, yes Aki, the bellydancer, was recently joined vsaikyo.
I hope Aqua's redbull sponsorship gets pass down to Ayame or Laplus because atleast they're serious on their esports journey that they're getting coached by well known esports players

I think there is a very low chance of Cover doing a segment branch. As atm Cover is more dedicated to idol activity. Plus since Cover is growing bigger every day leads tp more and more stage performance schedules, which means the Holomen will be busier on dance practice and recording. It kinda leads to HoloGirls got less time to do other stuff.
like Aqua, she may got different goal and thing want to achieve. I think that might be the reason why she decided to leave because Cover is getting less flexible on policy and scheduling due to the size of the cooperation now
(this is our guesses so let's not dig in too much.
All we can do is keep supporting her til the last moment)

What? Stop communicating on things you don't know about. You clearly don't follow hololive. Towa, matsuri, astel, regis, axel, ect. are all involved in competitive apex scene, pizza dad,oga, and botan were just apart of a sf6 tourney with pro players just a few days ago.
Also aqua was one of the most prominent singers/idols. A least go to her channel and see all the mv's she's released before saying these things, let alone that she was a staple on the vlive circuit.

@@ericp631 if you are really watching aqua, you can tell she is the most skilled fps gamer in hololive aside botan. if you cannot separate between "competitive" and "casuals" you are just making up stuff at this point.

calliope, moona, suisei, and other members who are more into singing and original song creation are "competitive" in term of music composing and creation, while aqua is casuals in this segment. you cannot say suisei and aqua is comparable in term of music career because that will be just lying.

in other segment of fps gaming, calliope and suisei are casuals compared to aqua who able to grind apex solo master outside the rat S17. many coach said aqua is able to go to preds like normal, but in hololive doing the idol work is priority so they have to double work on this and i dont think aqua able to do that

@@ericp631 the timing aqua quit is when her contract renewal comes up, so it means she has been thinking about this decision for a while now. the real reason will be always no one knows and viewers can only make speculations, some says aqua actually doesnt like being competitive in gaming
