Thanks, I make these pickups using the original Alnico 6 with the correct size of an original lipstick from the 50s. The coil is the correct AWG 42 copper wire, and there is no bobbin, like the originals. The cover is made from thick brass, and as a nonmagnetic material, it doesn't interfere with the magnetic field. The result is a unique wide-range pickup that resembles nothing else. I personally like the in series positions which are warm and give a beautiful bell like tone
Did you make your own cam clamps? (2:47) I made some like those in 1983 from Irving Sloane's book, Steel String Guitar Construction. I still have them. Thanks for the video.
@@tonerevivalguitars836 my body is in hootz laAretz, but all my mind and heart is in this very present homeland. Love your guitars. Gonna make sure i'll follow your builds bro

Gotta be one of the most beautiful builds I've seen.
It's amazing how much of the guitar's success is based on the delicate balance of tension 01:00
This is actually a technique used for gluing acoustic guitars tops and braces...

Awesome how this mediterranean girl can sing the blues
Well, the Blues is a universal language. Besides, this land is literally soaked in suffering. It's always the blues around here...
