Heads up! When he's reviewing the equations you'll need for each problem at the end, let me point something out to you. In problem 2, the symmetrical trajectory problem, he says that the final speed is the same as the initial speed. He writes Si=20 then S=20. However, keep in mind that this is SPEED. More often than not, you're dealing with VELOCITY, which can be thought of as the vector version of speed. In this case, Vi = negative V. They'll have the same magnitude but OPPOSITE direction.

Don’t let the study for the exam thing 1 week or even hours before it guys. Be serious with this, have a study schedule, take this as a Job that’s key, and review every week what you’ve already seen in class, and fill any gaps that you’ve had. 20:05 I noticed that the formula you used for tB->tC is the same as the formula for the height for case no.1 (2:45). I'm just wondering why you can use that formula because in Case 3, from point B to C, the initial velocity isn't equal to 0 like it is in Case 1. So if use the same formula we derived from (d = Vo*t + 1/2(at^2)) we will no longer cancel out Vo*t because in Case 3, we have the value for Vo already.
I am aware that your comment is 2 years old, but for new viewrs who might have the same question: While it is true that Vo is not zero, Voy (the vertical speed or Vo * sin) will be zero after we reach the maximum height, as the object is no longer moving up, so for the distance B to C we can use this formula (2:45) to find the height. Meaning, this case 3 is like two cases combined.
Thanks very much for your outstanding work. In class l don't understand anything. If being in class is part of wasting my time. I always understand yo work. Good explanation. Thanks a lot keep it up.
