i'm gonna get a lot of hate for liking it because "oh its electric that means you can't like it" but it looks great Tired of the fact everyone here drives gray/white tesla model y's and cybertrucks so seeing something unique looking will be such a breath of fresh air. very excited for the i6 version
I really like the way it looks as well. But I can't understand why they made it bigger and heavier than the outgoing model, which was already a tank. The should have made it a bit smaller and lighter and thrown in the (mod-ready) 5.7 V8 as an option from day one. That way they could have kept the price down by not forcing its customers to pay a gas-guzzler tax and the company could have reduced its government fines for bad mileage compared to the 6.4 V8.

I've got an EQE53 with the AMG performance pack which does 0-62 in 3.2 seconds and the first thing i did was turn off all the stupid fake noises. Going really fast silently is lush and unique to the EVs so might as well embrace it rather than have a fake noise.

I agree. In the spring there will be a twin turbo inline 6 available that’s supposedly much quicker than the v8 models. As for the size, the chassis has to be substantial enough to house the batteries. With the batteries in the floor, it should also handle better with a lower center of gravity.
Yo, I really dig the interior and exterior design. I'm fine with it being eletric,HOWEVER, you godda give the public more options. And have the prices reflect that. Offer up the v8, v6, and Battery. Or, offer hybrid V8 set up and a Straight up EV only models. Then , I'd argue, offer a wagon varient called the Charger Magnum. Thoughts on this ?

It’s growing on me, I didn’t like the way it looked in concept form but in production this looks pretty good. I do feel like it is a bit too long for a 2 door sports car. The side proportions is throwing it off for me. I’m sure the 4 door looks better. Throughout the review I forgot this was an electric model because it doesn’t necessarily look like one or sound like it. It’s nice what they did with the fratzonic system, almost similar to what Hyundai did with the ioniq 5. I do have hope that Dodge is in a better track, the interior is pretty nice too. I can’t wait to see what the Durango is gonna look like if they redesign it.
I am not mad at it. I feel its a salute to the past of the line with a nod to the future. When you look at what makes a sports car its about performance, speed, handling, and a focus on the driver. It has nothing to do with whether its an internal combustion engine or not.
It’s a cool vehicle and wish it were equipped with a small displacement v8, possibly a high revving, modular by design and to top it off a reliable one to boot! If you are not going to give us a Hemi give us this!!!

They really need to add a lever or button to lower the rear seats. Customers are not going to want to crawl in the back to lower them. Other than that, I'm really loving the Charger Daytona. I can't wait to see what's instore for the Banshee model!
