Blonde south burnent north i can tell northerners dont really like to play football as much as southerners im from southern oregon nit the real south but i love football
Did they stutter? The noise balancing causes the vocal tracks to be buried in the noise floor due to poor microphone usage and no real distinction. In important parts where a particular slang is distinguished based upon pronunciation, the noise of the store often drowns out the specific sections of emphasis. For example, try as I might, I couldn't hear the difference between crayon and 'crayn' do to the problems with the audio. The inclusion of the generic music track didn't help either. During the bass lure section the voice of the girls was often times buried in the store noises and the music track was often more prominent than what was being said. Also most of the distinctions only work if you utilize the slight accent differences between upland south and southern mid atlantic to get the point across. Otherwise most of the differences in pronunciation are lost.
Ok as someone from the north who has lived in the south for 13 years i can say that most of these are just different ways to say words, but thats just it its just two people pronouncing them different ways i know plenty of southerners who say things the way northerners do. That being said it was still a cute video.
KalMay I was born and raised in the North. My family moved down South when I was a kid. I didn't enjoy living up "Nawth", y'all.. *I am so glad I have lived in the South for most of my life* because people in the South are friendlier.
AlamoBuck the whole video was confusing. Uncw is a nc team and she was talking real northern. Also the girl talked north was talkin about hunting and shooting
Frootythepebble I don't care about that stuff either, y'all. I love Southern people, Southern hospitality, Southern food, and the drawlin' Southern accent. 👎Down with guns and camo👎, and I am 😑not impressed😑 with four-wheelers.
It's funny because in the north (and I live in nj) you can't buy guns and alcohol in Walmart. They don't sell them. And nj has never had a school shooting incident.
Welcome to modern times. We sum up all coloring materials including: Colored pencils, crayons, etc to ‘colors’ So, when we’re in class and you need a crayon, or a colored pencil, most of us (from the North or maybe just in my state) call it colors. “Can you pass me some colors?” “Yeah, sure.” *hands them some colored pencils.* Usually, we know exactly what kind of “colors” someone is talking about because most of the time, we’re talking about colored pencils because colored pencils are chosen over markers or crayons for some reason.
I have rarely had a pleasant encounter with anyone from PA, MN, WI, OH, SD, or IN. There is a pervasive rudeness in the North Eastern USA. I see people from those states move to Texas all the time on the company dime. They last less than a year and run back up North. Usually, we are very glad to see them go.
Idk which is which the one saying the things with brown hair is “northern” but so is the girl picking the 4-wheeler and camo stuff sooo.... idk which it which
It's funny how true this is when it comes to saying things different. My grandmas boyfriend is from New York and we're from Louisiana and he says car- mel and we say caramel than for pecans he says p-cans.
Also Southern people are always talkin bout how "well" thay Mamas doin. They be like: "How yo mama doin?" ..... "She doin good ..." ...... "Really?" ..... "Yeah" ..... "And what about yo mama?" ..... "Oh see doin good to" .... "She just got her hip replaced" ...... "Really?" ..... "Yeah? ..... And if you from the North your standing their like: "Dude, why are we standing here talking about moms? .... We've been standing here for like two hours already. We have a ton of shit to do.... ahhhhh .... we haven't even registered for classes yet...... let's go already. Ahhhhh" : )
Ive lived in Pennsylvania all my life and we love sports hunting fishing and camo all the same as the south. We're not better than you but we're not worse either.
from a New Yorker I love it when southerners say "now y'all come back ya hear", man I hope i typed it right. I remember a southerner corrected me when I said route(root) 95 it's raought 95.
Rhonda L I had a friend from Florida and he always said that he repaired cars. He was the only person who took care of my car his name was John Hewlett.
Ok someone please tell me. I’m someone from both north (nj) and south (fl) I couldn’t tell a difference. Being from both I have said all these things! Plz tell me which was which.
One thing that I do say a lot is "y'all" but another than that most southern people don't have a southern accent lol I grew up in Texas and only those who grew up in the deep country or are from states like south Carolina/Alabama still seem to have that accent, I run into more people with the standard American accent, just with southern words/slang, like calling all soda/pop just "coke" for example, "y'all got any cokes to drink?" it don't mean just coke a cola, it means any coke product drink lol
You can not say that a northern person doesent know what a fishing lure is i feel the fisherman here in michigan are a lot stricter and better than the southerns.
As a New Yorker, this is almost extremely not true. But then again, I only represent one state in the North, so idk about the other northern states. What do you think?
I'm from n.y but i moved to Florida. When i moved i honestly thought people were speaking a foreign language and they would look at me weird when i say pajama "wrong"
There should be a reality show about people from the north moving and living in the south and southerners moving and living in the north. For example people from Montana living in Louisiana and vice versa
My dad was from the north. And Catholic. My mother from the south and Baptist. They met after WW2 when my dad returned to florida where he had had his basic training. Three weeks later they moved to Chicago, got married and 9 months later my mother gave birth to my older sister and eventually had three more children. We lived in chicago and visited florida everychance we had until we moved to arizona in 1968. My parents stayed married for 65 years until my father passed away in 2007 . He was 87 years old. Mother died in 2018 at 90 years of age. While the South has many great things about it like great food and music, I end up prefering the North or better yet the hot dusty Southwest.
A friend and i can get into a whole debate on Pop vs Soda. As he’s from the south, I’m from the north. I say pop, he says Soda....WHY?? No one says soda 😑😑😑😑
I'm from PA, and I don't sound like the northern girl. Then again, to do this accurately you'd've had to have at least 6 different girls(New York, New England, Mid-Atlantic, Upper South, non-rhotic South, and rhotic South). For those of you who don't know, non-rhotic accents don't pronounce r's.
Ariana Rockwell tbh, I think you SOUTHERN girls are better than northern. I dated a Southern girl (Tennessee) and she spoke with a hella sexy ascent. Since than, I've been trying to get me a SOUTHERN girl.
“southerner”: blonde girl
“northerner”: brunette girl! (me)
thought i’d clarify since i get hate on this silly video daily
The north doesn't know what hot is
The south doesn't know what cold is
ZMästér we’ll considering the weather lately, we do now!
Where I live in the south we have 4 seasons and I love it... except for when winter STAYS WINTER
ZMästér we get heat for at least two months
I have a dad from West Virginia and a mom from Texas so I’m good shorts and a a t shirt as long as it’s over 20 farinheight.
Sorry for bad grammar wrote this a midnight.
Wait ... who is playing the north and who is playing the south?
Bri Zack I thought it was the other way around...
Blonde south burnent north i can tell northerners dont really like to play football as much as southerners im from southern oregon nit the real south but i love football

Ok as someone from the north who has lived in the south for 13 years i can say that most of these are just different ways to say words, but thats just it its just two people pronouncing them different ways i know plenty of southerners who say things the way northerners do. +Kassidy Sauls yank
Not all southerners are into guns, camo, and 4-wheelers 🙄🙄. I’m from the south and I could care less about that stuff.
I’m from Louisiana, so I can identify as a southerner but I don’t say pajamas like that. The buggie one is so true
LOL! These girls are pretty good at this. This is hilarious... I'd love to see them do another one for sure.
Pennsylvania bursts through the door
"Sup yinz want a hoggie"

deeply disappointed
Omg are y'all in North Carolina! I saw the ECU fabric!
In that Walmart they were playing drunk on your love by Brett Eldredge, I freaking love that song.
The “Southern gal” is going to lose the phone 📱 out of her back pocket at any minute. Maybe she should put that smartphone on a chain, Lol.
I’m a mixture of both. My dads from the north and my moms in the south. I live in the middle of the USA
When you come for a good time and everyone is screaming about who is better
I have rarely had a pleasant encounter with anyone from PA, MN, WI, OH, SD, or IN. There is a pervasive rudeness in the North Eastern USA. I see people from those states move to Texas all the time on the company dime. They last less than a year and run back up North. Usually, we are very glad to see them go.
Jon Lee you are right about pervasive rudeness. GOOD RIDDANCE TO THE BORING, STUCK UP NORTH. I love the South!
I cant tell which is supposed to be which bc neither have distinguishable accents
Hold on which girl is northern and which is south
I'm from Minnesota and the girl representing the south fits us more than the girl representing the north.
Idk which is which the one saying the things with brown hair is “northern” but so is the girl picking the 4-wheeler and camo stuff sooo.... idk which it which
My grandma was born and raised in Virginia they do not say budgey there so Idk where your from
When you're from Kansas so you can relate to both
Hey that girl has a uncw sweat shirt. Are you guys from Wilmington.
It's good, but the background noise is too loud.
None of the North was true. It’s Cran. It’s Puh jam uhs. Though we do do love our guns and camo
Lil’ Fish lmao what the hell Is a cran
Alicia Grimes that thing you color with and eat in kindergarten
It's crayon
She is wearing a UNC W hoodie. In WalMart in Wilmington NC
What area of NC do you live in, because I'm right by UNCW?
My mom is from the north and my dad is from the south so I say all of these things 😂
It's funny how true this is when it comes to saying things different. My grandmas boyfriend is from New York and we're from Louisiana and he says car- mel and we say caramel than for pecans he says p-cans.
some people don't take thing like this as a joke
Which one was from the north and which was from the south??
I am from the south, and this is SO ACCURATE
what 'n tarnation is that! remember that the letter a is pronounced AE
Also Southern people are always talkin bout how "well" thay Mamas doin. They be like:
"How yo mama doin?" .....
"She doin good ..." ......
"Really?" .....
"Yeah" .....
"And what about yo mama?" .....
"Oh see doin good to" .... "She just got her hip replaced" ......
"Really?" .....
"Yeah? .....
And if you from the North your standing their like:
"Dude, why are we standing here talking about moms? .... We've been standing here for like two hours already. We have a ton of shit to do.... ahhhhh .... we haven't even registered for classes yet...... let's go already. Ahhhhh"
: )

Fernando Salas I've never heard anyone actually say that... Except in a movie.
Rhonda L I had a friend from Florida and he always said that he repaired cars. He was the only person who took care of my car his name was John Hewlett.
which one is the southern and which one is the northern?
Did you just imply that northerners don't know how to fish?? We have so many lakes, people are constantly fishing
*I can't tell which one is north and which one is south I'm Alaskan I don't know this lower 48 stuff*
Bruh I'm from Louisiana and just moved to Wisconsin. Mannnnnnn...smh
Is Michigan considered the north?
With ones northern and with ones southern?
I pronounce crayon like "cran" And I'm in the North🤔
Well I don’t know about anyone else but In Louisiana we don’t say “crayons”. They colors. Box of colors
So apparently northerners play with toys, while southerners play sports? According to this video.
JustForFun Graal Sorry if it sounds mean, but what do you not get. Is it what I said?
Im from the south but literally if you said "buggy" everyone would look at you like "wtf is a buggy"
ITS A CART
I think Southerners' accent is charming and delightful.
Gary Crowder Ah loooove the Southern ayaccent, y'all! Eeit eeis raht purty!

Well u live in the city or course you would say north is better
Ok someone please tell me. I’m someone from both north (nj) and south (fl) I couldn’t tell a difference. Being from both I have said all these things! Plz tell me which was which.

I hear country music in Wal-Mart 😂 yay
I live In Michigan and we don’t pronounce the o in crayon and most of the stuff the southern girl said was close to us
Did they switch??? Girl at the first said cran...i thought navy shirt was southern. Im so confused. Lol. Nobody in the south says crayon right
One thing that I do say a lot is "y'all" but another than that most southern people don't have a southern accent lol I grew up in Texas and only those who grew up in the deep country or are from states like south Carolina/Alabama still seem to have that accent, I run into more people with the standard American accent, just with southern words/slang, like calling all soda/pop just "coke" for example, "y'all got any cokes to drink?" it don't mean just coke a cola, it means any coke product drink lol
If you ever record minecraft again I recommend obs screen recorder and I movie to edit
Can anyone tell be which is Northern and Which is Southern~a person who is annoyed of these comment
You can not say that a northern person doesent know what a fishing lure is i feel the fisherman here in michigan are a lot stricter and better than the southerns.
As a New Yorker, this is almost extremely not true. But then again, I only represent one state in the North, so idk about the other northern states. What do you think?
Idk about other states but in Texas the suburbs of big cities are just about as north as Texas gets
Lmao after awhile I couldn't tell who was sopposed to rep where XD
I'm from n.y but i moved to Florida. When i moved i honestly thought people were speaking a foreign language and they would look at me weird when i say pajama "wrong"
J Ortiz In FL so many people are transplants. (I used to live there). I wouldn't say that there is definite southern accent there. Imo
There should be a reality show about people from the north moving and living in the south and southerners moving and living in the north. For example people from Montana living in Louisiana and vice versa
I live in the North now, but I used to live in the South so I can relate to this
Yes I know but I am not criticizing but I live in the frikin middle of no where and every girl seems to be north no matter how much they try
Well um I’m from the middle state of Maryland so...
Valenhalge Life its like a mix in Maryland.. South starts around Fredericksburg, Virginia.
They ain't cray-ons or crayens.
Theys colors
My dad was from the north. And Catholic. My mother from the south and Baptist.
They met after WW2 when my dad returned to florida where he had had his basic training. Three weeks later they moved to Chicago, got married and 9 months later my mother gave birth to my older sister and eventually had three more children.

While the South has many great things about it like great food and music, I end up prefering the North or better yet the hot dusty Southwest.
I know this sounds stupid, but is Virginia in the South or North??
Equestrian Olivia Schmechel it's the northern -most Southern state. Where the South begins.
I live in South people don’t act like this is mostly our grandma
People in the north say Cran
riley clark no
The music is distracting over background noise.
I was confused on who’s from the South until I heard buggy
As a southerner I can relate to this
A friend and i can get into a whole debate on Pop vs Soda.
For those of you who don't know, non-rhotic accents don't pronounce r's.
i rather just have both cultures just be on single one?
The music in the background was to loud so I couldn’t hardly hear anything 😩🙄
I'm a southerner and I talk like the northern.
Ariana Rockwell tbh,
I think you SOUTHERN girls are better than northern. I dated a Southern girl (Tennessee) and she spoke with a hella sexy ascent. Since than, I've been trying to get me a SOUTHERN girl.
Alejandro Nieves Tennessee is the north
Km Ca nope, wrong. My southern, spoke with a hella sexy ascent. And when I drove to Tennessee, all of em had a ascent
Thats because TN is in the flipping south. TN aint never been north (yankee). UGH!
Jennifer Farler will duh, I know!!! That's why since I dated a Southern girl I been trying to haunt me a SOUTHERN girl
I couldn’t tell which was which
Im from Texas and have only experienced snow a few times which is rare in texas.
This is inaccurate because i live in a northen staye and my family comes from Alabama and some of them come from a city so I'm kind of a mix
