This is Wonderful!! I have been wanting something more for our faith.
Just want to say, "Out of the Rubble" by my beautiful friend Ingrid Azvedo, is such a good read! Ingrid used to give speeches at colleges and a few times here in our town, about how our freedoms in America are slipping away.
She was a 10 year old German girl when the war started. And tells her story so beautifully. She knows how important it is to honeschool your children. Very important to her, was that children learn the constitution. She would pass out constitution pamphlets to EVERYONE.
She's just a beautiful person.
I strongly encourage the reading of her book.

I started using the mindful heart in March and love it!! We are on the third unit of American history for the elementary levels. I'm excited to get into higher levels when that time comes. It has definitely changed our homeschool for the better. Thanks for encouragement as always Mikael!!

Thank you for making this video! Even though I don’t have kids this age yet I’m going to keep it in mind for the future. Do you have any faith and courage book recommendations for girls 9-11 years old? I just feel Gods light radiating from you ❤️❤️

Do your high schoolers still read LOH books? I’m wondering how they compare. What do they enjoy more? LOH or Mindful Heart?
I was planning on using Notgrass for history. (Without the writing portion and a few of the extra books). Do you think it’d be too much to add this as an elective?
This curriculum is very specific to the LDS faith, correct?
Yes it is
Yeah it is. It would be very difficult to take the LDS parts out.
You could easily substitute the scriptures and hymns in the Heart and Soul time of the collections, a different product, but some of the content is specific to the LDS faith. There is a non denominational team member helping write curriculum too. So anyone could use it if they want to. The investigations are pretty LDS specific.
I looked through the sample and it definitely looks like it would be too difficult to modify. Which is fine! Not every curriculum will fit every demographic.
Could I use this with the good and the beautiful history curriculum?
I think it would be to much to do both.
