The reason why I love and hate Reinhardt: I hate it when he's very close-minded and stubborn. But I love it when he learns from those mistakes and actually makes the changes. Widow actively visiting her husband’s grave shows even with the brainwashing she loves and misses her husband. A Overwatch show could easily work and have alot of depth put into it
I imagine Ana has plenty of regrets about the life she lived. she doesn't look back fondly on the missions and lives she had to take, or the fact that she was basically forced to fake her death and miss her daughter growing up.

Soldier is a complicated character. Have you ever considered WHY he says the things he does? He tells Reinhardt that he has accepted that the world doesn’t need heroes, yet he commits vigilantism. Actions speak louder than words. He doesn’t make it everyone else’s problems, if he did he wouldn’t be trying to do everything himself. You are vastly misunderstanding PTSD grandpa’s character.

He is a soldier though, your typical Captain America that seeks validation for his actions. His valor is lost, so he is lost, and for that he seeks vengeance for who he thinks is responsible and that is something Ana talks to him about in another interaction, saying that he needs to stop his crusade.

Though the examples you gave could just be game expression itself (i.e.: Killstreak and power up voicelines.) Widow laughing at Tracer didn't have to be a reaction, but also a way to break the hero by mocking them. Talon is ruthless, and Widow is the perfect little mix between the vigilantes and the terrorists.

When she first killed her husband, yes, she was aware but it was beyond her control at the time. The brainwashing Talon put her through made her Widowmaker. Amelie was gone. But it seems now Amelie is slowly returning, based on some of her voice lines and her return to her husband’s grave every Christmas. It’s only a matter of time until the brainwashing wears off.
She's also genetically toyed with and brainwashed, so I don't consider her the arbiter of her choices anymore than a sleeper agent like winter soldier.

Rein and Törb are the only two old Overwatch members that seem to remember why they exist. They’ve all (overwatch) suffered far too much, but those two keep fighting for a brighter future. Edit: I know they’re all fighting for a greater future, just those two seem to enjoy it the most.
What irked me about Morrison, is how to talked down to D.Va. In combat, treating everything like a game helped her cope, but Morrison fails to realize that she is more like him than he knows. Yes he was dealt a bad hand by the world, but some people just have a cause worth fighting for, and he should know damn well why Reinhardt won't walk away or refuse the call to action.

What irked me about Morrison, is how to talked down to D.Va. In combat, treating everything like a game helped her cope, but Morrison fails to realize that she is more like him than he knows. Yes he was dealt a bad hand by the world, but some people just have a cause worth fighting for, and he should know damn well why Reinhardt won't walk away or refuse the call to action.
