We check out my friend Ian's 1990 Mercedes Benz #300TE Wagon today over a socially distant cars and coffee on Sunday, August 2, 2020. He's rescued this classic wagon and put quite some time and effort into bringing it back to life over the past year. my grandma had an 88 300TE, white on blue just like this one. my brothers and I would fight for the third row seats too! made a great beach wagon for hawaii. she told me it was a grey import from canada and wasnt optioned with AC, but I think it did have it and it just didn't work haha. good memories :)

Rust above those side back windows is a problem. Take the windows out and see that the pinch weld looks like under the window gasket.
Do you know if he still has the H&R springs? I’m looking at buying one of these and I’d like to lower it

Probably the 4wd system
Could be low fluid in the suspension. Mine went out when I replaced the EHA valve, I don't know if it is related.
