I hope natty doesn't give up... She is so talented I don't want her talent to be wasted. She is still young so I'm very sure that if she pushes on, she will still debut at a ripe age. While I am saddend just like you about Natty, I feel like Jiwon was completly shadowed by the rest during sixteen. I personally don't remeber her in any shape of form during that time so I find it good that she gets to debut and made a lasting impression with the public. In addition there are a lot of other really talented girls who didn't make it Natty isn't the only one. What I hope she will do is find a label that will value her and make her debut in a strong memorable group. Also visual or not, all these girls want to debut some got luckier then others but it will only get harder from here.
If your favorite didn't make it, you can just move away and not support them. Why bother bashing.
If from your point of views, your favorite is the greatest, the most talented, then other also could have their preferences, and saw something great from these 9 girls, based on their point of views.
#2 has great vocal too. When they covered Twice Like Ooh Ahh, Jiwon took Nayeon's part and #2 took Jihyo's part. So obviously they already have enough vocal lines.

People who bashing them in past should look at them now because they improve alot and really have a nice song. Fromis_9 is not only visual. In vocal line, they not only have Jiwon, but there's Hayoung and Gyuri too.
All I see is comments about how they're disappointed with the lineup... Y'all need to either appreciate who made it or get out because tbh wether you like the lineup or not it's not changing for your needs. The girls that made it worked hard to get here and need to be appreciated, but you guys would rather say things like "they have a weak vocal line", "their dance is ok" and "I hope they flop". Give them time to grow and you'll see fromis_9 become a beautiful group that'll surely make an impact in the KPOP industry.

They have good visual, ok dancers but a weak vocal line. Good in singing are the ex girls from yg and jyp (?) but that's really not much. I think the company they debut under should rather focus on imroving their vocals than their dancing.

Its has already been 2 years for fromis 9 and im so happy about hiow far the group has gotten. They literally proved all the negative comments wrong. Tbh i think fromis 9 has the strongest vocal line ever...they literally have a visual who can sing for sh8. So happy for the girls

Hayoung: Main dancer, lead vocalist.

Jiwon: Main vocalist
Jisun: Vocalist, dancer, visual, center.
Seoyeon: Main rapper, vocalist.

Probably only 3 out of the 9 , deserve to be in top 9. Don't have high hope that this group can survive in the kpop stage for long. This is always the problem when candidate are choosen base on popular vote.
I think I should just for real stay off the comment section cause all I mostly see is hate and that isn't what I wanted to see when I joined the kpop community, I wanted to see love and support for any idol and instead of bashing them or something and to say something more positive about the idols. Even if it is a weak vocal line and whatever you guys were saying it doesn't mean they won't improve cause if they do have weak voices then obviously their company will focus more on that and if they need to improve their dancing then the company would focus on that and etc etc etc. My point is to stop being negative and to be more positive like saying "They have a weak vocal line but hopefully they can improve and become better!" or something like that cause I like to see that more often in this community. Another quick thing before you start commenting, I DO RESPECT OTHERS OPINIONS, I just want them to not be so bashful and stuff, also if you decide to argue with me then I will most likely not reply also depending on what it says. :)
Also, yes I know the other girls were extremely talented and I hope they become idols in the future but still it doesn't mean you have to say negative things about the people who made it into the final group. If you think the other girls were really talented then who knows one day they could become an idol with another group or even a solo artist! I was sad to see Jessica (i-seul) give up her dream of being an idol cause of the show though but just have hope that the extremely talented girls who got eliminated could soon become an idol. The people who didn't vote for them probably didn't see or hear their amazing talent and didn't think hard about their decision when choosing and just chose whoever was their favorite. sorry if this doesn't sound good enough for you cause I'm just trying here.

I don't understand how this concept worked
It was a survival show with 41 pretty girls without agencies and who have not necessarly been trainees before (althought a lot of them were actually ex trainees or ex idols). These girls got an intensive training by famous trainers (most of them worked with SM) during 4 months. There were 3 evaluations where bottom girls were eliminated and at the end of the show, the top9 debut in a ggroup (fromis). That's why haters call them visuals & untalented, because they are pretty and they don't want to understand that they improved
I believe they have the potential to improve, but what about the ones who are already so far ahead vocal and dancing wise? Natty, Nayeon, Dahee, Tasha, Haein, and so many more are exceptional artists! Let them have a chance before voting for all the visuals! I am genuinely disappointed w/ this program, they should've let professionals/mentors decide who is truly ready for debut.
Only Seoyeon & Jiwon (Maybe Hayoung) are talented. I think Seoyeon & Jiwon should Join Produce 101 Season 3 than Idol School

I only watched the first episode of idol school and I watched all the performance clips that came out on Mnet's channel but like lol this lineup...... I literally did not know Noh Jisun existed.....she had like 0 screentime and media play (for the international fans).......LIKE even though I don't know all the other 8 members' names, I RECOGNIZE all of them. I've seen them in the early episodes and i've seen their performances, but i've never seen Noh Jisun. Something must be wrong here.....I see her appeal but I feel that she does not fit the center role at all. She is forgettable and doesn't have that star quality like the other produce centers, Somi and Daniel, have. I don't mind her in the group but at the very least she should be 2 or lower.
You only watched the first episode and come here to judge Jisun? If she wasn't good, she won't consistently get high amount of votes from people watching live. She didn't have as much screentime but people who watched live saw what she's capable of. She got praised not just by co-trainees but by mentors as well

before anyone says anything, i'm not gonna hate on fromis_- i actually like a few of the girls who debuted, so good on them and good on the group!!
but honestly, i feel like this group isn't going to meet expectations- without international support from fans of people like natty, herin, snow baby, tasha and other foreign competitors, i think after the hype is over, fromis_ isn't going to do that well especially with their weaker vocal line (aHEM the good ones didn't debut and korean fans apparently only cared about visuals?? according to the comments)
i think there's definitely a reason these girls debuted (they're cute obviously and they're talented, it just happened that people were more talented but weren't treated fairly) and i'm personally excited for this!! but i know we all know this show was rigged as HELL... BUT mnet still didn't make good decisions with that rigging lmao. personally i am a herin stan and we all know what happened there... but smiley jiheon debuted and she's sO adorable i love her and hope she improves even more

FINALLY SOMEONE OBJECTIVE! I stan fromis and i agree with most of your points!! but i disagree with some of your points
- There's literally no hype around fromis, the show was a flop and even in korea people only complain about haein...
- People always talk about their vocal line and i admit that it's not the best vocal line ever but it's not that bad... Jiwon is a great vocalist and in my opinion, far better than Haein or Natty. I was rooting for Herin too, but i think Jiwon is better. For me, only Nayeon, Dahee and Sia's vocals were better than Jiwon's. Seoyeon, Gyuri and Hayoung are good too but yeah, not really strong. But it doesn't matter if their vocal line is weak! a lot of groups have a weak vocal line but they focus on something else
-I don't think the show was rigged... It's obvious that Mnet knew who hey wanted to debut (and it wasn't Herin lol... i'm sad) but i really don't think the votes were rigged. The top9 remained quite the same during the whole show and Haein was at the bottom 9 or out, and she ended 11th which is not surprising since Jiwon rised and Haein's was around these ranks during the last eps. I think her kr fans just didn't voted for her because they were too confident and more people than expected vote for Jiwon because she was impressive during the last ep. Also, there's only a few vote between Gyuri, Jina and Haein, it was really close not like Jonghyun on p101
