I have a question about the all red kit change in the November of the 1964-65 season ... was it used from then on in League and League Cup games in the season ? I know it was used in the F.A. Cup and European Cup games.
I wasn't sure as the only league footage I have from that season is United away which obviously isn't the home kit, but I've just had a look at the newspaper reports on LFC History and it seems from the photos they continued to wear the white shorts. For the League Cup, after getting promoted they didn't bother entering until 67/68.

Enjoy these videos. One point though, at 11.35, you state that Emlyn Hughes man marked Overath. However, Hughes did not sign for Liverpool until 1967.
Hughes would man-mark Overath the next time Liverpool met him due to his performance in this match.
