In english, I've seen people think that the person talking on wriothesley introduction is neuvillette bc they sound too similar, personally I don't think they do but compared to JP, they are more easy to distinguish from one another.

I have high hopes for his EN VA considering he did a fantastic job in Fire Emblem Three Houses as Claude. From the few voicelines we've heard so far, it looks like he nailed it!

Ooh! This time I find both the Eng and JP voices fantastic! I've always loved Daisuke Ono and he definitely brings out the "prison warden" vibe I felt for Wrio. And the Eng voice really brings out the way Neuvillette described him as "shrewd" and asked us to be careful. Definitely like both the voices this time! ❤
My favourite male VAs in both Japanese and English. Usually I have definite favourite language for each character but this one is so hard. The Chinese VA went hard too, I was impressed.

@@raisha99tbh I don't think it would have fit if they went more rough-ish deeper voice, since rizzley does appear to be more on the stoic calm side (from my impressions so far). I also think he sounds like jingyuan but jingyuan sounds way more gentle compared to him tbh, rizzley does seem to be more cocky than him lmao.

The ENG VA really pulled it off with Wriothesley. He sounds Calm and Composed, which makes him feel extra cool in ENG than other language's

Eng va made him kinda more gentle than the other voice actors. Like the JP va sounds like he is more agrresive which make sense since he is a prisoner guard. But personally i like eng one more since it sounds a bit more gentle
People just hating on ENs. I love EN better aka Dubbed is way better. Its funny people read English Dubbed Manga but watch English subtitles which doesn’t makes sense 🫠😂😂😂😂
His EN VA seems like he goes for both. "Gentle" when he should, "goes up to 11" when he has to.
I wouldn't say gentle, maybe more laid back would fit better, but I think it's the better fit for him compared to the other dubs
