Thought about making your indie booth theme based? Like one time for top downs or one time for arcade games. So it would pull people with similar interests together. Someone who likes shootemups might be bored by a tactics game or vice versa. Plus you could choose really cool clickbaity titles like "Looking for a Stardew Valley successor - indie games who walk the farming path"
@@videogameiacs I can just talk for myself, but my recent game is about chess, so it only fits for people who like slow paced games. I don't think the typical shooter guy would be happy watching you play my game for 15min 😂 And as a player I usually type things like "top 10 roguelike indiegame" and watch some of the recommended videos. So with my typical searches I would more likely stumble upon a themed episode.
@KeyboardKrieger oh yeah you are right of course but I have also had devs say they wouldn’t want to compete with similar games. So it will take some planning :D but yes we shall try it
I disagree, I like shmups and would have been more likely to watch this had it been shmup themed but I probably wouldn't have watched different themed news. Now I watched it all and because all the bits were short I didn't fast forward.
@@videogameiacs Themed recaps or collections would be a nice addition, but I personally like the 'something for everyone VIB'' most. For example, I wouldn't be interested in a roguelike themed indie booth, and some might not be interested in an FPS one, or a metroid one or whatever.

Yeah we have talked about it before. We have done country themed shows too. Might be worth trying some more themes again though for sure

Hey indiegamiacs. Been following the channel for quite a long while. Thanks for showing my game. Much appreciated ❤️.
My pleasure!
