Ranthambore National Park | Tiger Safari at Ranthambore | Rajasthan tour | Part 1 | Complete Guide
Ranthambore is one of the largest wildlife sanctuary in India. This is located in the state of Rajasthan. This is one of the Tiger reserves where tourist spot tigers regularly
We drove down to Ranthambore from Jaipur, it took about 3 hours drive. We stayed at Ranthambore Heritage Haveli. This is one of the top recommended stay is Ranthambhore.This is a palace like stay. The staffs are very friendly, the food was tasty and place has great amenities. One of the advantages is that this is very close to zone 2 where our safari was in next day morning. We spent two days here and took safari in Zone 2 and Zone 9.
Things to know before you reach Ranthambore:
1. There are 10 zones for safari
2. Zone 1-5 are core safari zones where more number of tigers have been spotted on regular basis.
3. You can either book a Canter (20 seater) or Gypsy (6 seater) for safari
4. Gypsy tickets gets sold out early so book at least a month in advance.
5. Book minimum two safari in two different zones to increase your probability of spotting tiger.
6. Do research of where recent tiger spotting happened
7. Winter is ideal time for pleasant weather (October to Feb)

Best time would be from October to Feb when temperature is not too high…
Day time will be pleasant but night it can get cold…

Summer will be hot but higher chances to spot wildlife as the animals will come out in search of water…
