Thanks a lot VV. Took me quite some time to cut that, since I had sooooo much footage. Couldn't stop filming on site 🤣. Really was an amazing experience. For a one night stopever, the effort would be too high. For longer stays that is definitely my personal choice in Qatar.
The DT Old Town ranks lowest on my list. :-) But that is connected to our experience, with half the hotel closed, no upgrade, high priced and the only place in Qatar, where breakfast was served in the room (and wasn't very convincing). Plus it was surrounded by a big construction site. Compared to that, Salwa Beach was a revelation. :-D I'm sure you will make it there 👍
The pools are heated and there were always people in the pool. Temperature outside in December is around 20°C/68°F Even two years later, I would say this is a great place and if you check the TripAdvisor Reviews, they all say the same. The executive lounge has been removed in the meantime, however - a friend of mine told me, who was there recently. :-(

Looks like a really nice resort. I have only stayed at the DoubleTree Old Town and it would be nice to check this out in the future.
