I WAS Jenny. I was waking up when I first heard your song. I would skip it. I didn’t want to admit my mind was wrong. As I’ve healed, I’m a different person! I’m back to being Jen. I may have pushed a lot away, but I found myself. I share his brain!! I CHOSE to shut it off. This body will not hit-it-t-t-t the ground! I think your song helped me see the truth. Cracked my shell. Redirecting one step at a time. Music changes my melody!!
What a great interview. I find this artist to be one of the most real musicians around today. The music that Jonny Hawkins makes with his band is saving lives and this interview is going to help a lot of people. I am very happy to have found this diamond.
This is so great! Thank you for posting. Jonny has been a very positive influence on so many lives. He certainly helped me change mine. One of the best men I’ve ever met. Love, love, love this guy!!
This was amazing to watch! There's soo many things that Jonny was talking about here that I can relate to in my own life. Thankyou Jonny Hawkins for all that you do , the music that you and everyone involved in Nothing More has helped me more than you know! It's great to hear that Jenna is doing much better now, funny enough my Sister Aimee, whom I related the song "Jenny" to , has started doing alot better for herself in the last year, which makes me very happy as well! I can't wait to hear the next album! Much love from all of us in Faith & Scars!
I don't understand. Why would anyone dislike as video like this? It's an interview. It's not even a song that might have personal taste issue. What's wrong with people disliking this?
There is a serious stigma here in the states about mental health. We need another way to see one another. We need less pick yourself up, and more how can I help you. We don't serve one another anymore. Its sad.
This needs more exposure... It sucks when you're trying so hard to say something like "im here, talk to me" and no one can open their mouths or eyes...
When people really understand a deep depression vs ptsd. They are not too much different. Especially for vets. Vets have ptsd from their times in war. For some sexual violence. Some vets have depression from past things. IE loss of other military members. Things that happened in their past. And they turned to drugs alcohol. Yet the va and some medical people down play depression.

I got roped into Jonny's songs by my dad listened to his songs since 2017. Favorite rock band. I cry every time to "god went north"
This is an awesome interview. Insightful & practical. The segments about empathy and stigma, and self-care are spot-oN! 🔥🔥🔥

It is tabu nobody wants to talk about mental health . I love your song Fade in Fade out I get very emotional when I hear It ‼️
Great stuff Jonny! Good to hear more folks talking about what is behind the music.
Não gosto de homem, mas sou apaixonado por essa banda e atitude deles.
