Knowing that AuriKatriina struggled with Depression for years and is now living a fully happy & productive life gives me more hope that my life will improve more than it already has after years of decreasing the amount of Depression I have. *I LOVE YOU, AURI!!* 😊❤
It will. I suffered from depression since I was 17 and I am 31 now. Even though it well never truly go away (at least not for me) Life truly does get better and don’t feel like you failed when you need to go into therapy or have medication. If it wasn’t for my antidepressants I wouldn’t be alive anymore and I’m truly grateful that because of them I am able to live a happy and productive life.
I'm not even sure I would call her response to such a tragedy as "depression". I think that her reaction was a normal grieving response. It is important to distinguish between what is classified as 'depression' and a 'grief response' as dealing with each one is very very different.
I found myself thinking, "Hmm this is not that bad" when seeing the state of the house, or "that looks fun to clean" when seeing some of the stains. As much as you are giving hope to people who suffer from these conditions, you are also normalizing mess and the mental health issues that are so commonly stigmatized. You are someone who brings about real change, not just to the houses you clean, but also to society and its understanding. That's what makes you a superhero!

I’m glad because I was truly getting confused. Not trying to downplay anything but one minute writer was depressed and in the next she was happy and engaged. She lost her baby but says she now pregnant with with her first baby. Also, she’s okay now, and happy, but her apartment tells a different story. I was really confused.
What a horrible thing to live through but the ending is beautiful. Shows we can all hold on to hope even in nightmarish situations. This young woman is stronger than she knows. God bless her. Usually I'm ok with rough stories, but this one hit me a bit harder than usual. I'm so glad that you are able to hold space for people's stories like this, and help them move through the difficult environments they've found themselves in. Amazing work as always Auri!
It hit me hard as I got engaged recently and have new faith for the future... My younger brother had died in an accident earlier this year and it crushed me, but after hearing this story it's almost like the pain and emptiness she mentions is nothing compared to mine, I cannot even imagine what it must felt like for this woman. She is so brave for fighting for herself.
As a survivor myself, i still can't understand where we find so much strength. Everybody is fighting their own battle everyday and its really good to know this girl is finding happiness and love again! During ky worst days, my strength came from my pets. I always thought: "i need to be here cuz they just have me to take care of them". Also, i always look for extra support with psychological treatments. My pets died this year, but first they healed me almost completely. Life looks easier nowadays. Stay strong you all!
Animals are amazing at intuitively knowing when we are sad, your pets came into your life at the right time, it's so sad you lost them, I can relate, I have lost 2 cats the first from FIP he was only 6 month, turned out the breeder was breeding cats knowing this was an issue, and continued to do so, even after "mysteriously losing her stud and needed a new one" 😡 it makes me so angry. The 2nd I lost was the most beautiful cat you could ever see, he was a Siamese/ragdoll cross, and his personality matched his beauty, so loving and gentle, he was 2, we went to bed and he was gone, he looked like he collapsed mid stride, we were in shock, vets think it was heart failure, and is more common in ragdolls. So I understand the heartbreak it causes, lots of people don't understand how hard it is to lose a pet, I am glad they had helped you enough to be able to deal with the loss, always reach out to someone when you are feeling low, and remember that each time you feel like that, it will pass eventually, but you don't need to ride the wave alone. There will always be someone who wants to listen.
I always love hearing your stories but this one had me sobbing with my little baby in my arms. You are so strong and work so hard to make sure you’re helping others through their hardships. The world needs more positive forces such as yourself. I’m so sorry for all you have been through xoxo

Can we talk about how well designed to finnish bathrooms are. I like the fact of the washroom, shower and toilet are all in an area that you can easily wash it down with a shower head and it keeps your dirty underwear away from your kitchen.(looking at you Brittain)

I think designs like this are dismal. There is nothing relaxing about it at all. No nice hot bath? So sterile. To each their own but I don’t find it charming.
What a sad story. I am so glad she found love again. I wish her and her partner all the best for the impending birth and hope it all goes well. I, too, survived a house fire and, luckily, my dog and I were not hurt, although I was left standing in the clothes I was wearing. That was eight years ago and I now have another house which I bought 3 years ago. However, I lost my dog a couple of weeks before Covid hit and we went into lockdown for 6 months. In the past two years my mental health has taken a big hit with the onset of depression, anxiety and PTSD due to the loss of my parents to cancer, the house fire, loss of my dog and constant lockdowns (I am now on my own). My house is a total bomb site and I can’t seem to get the motivation to do anything about it most days. Watching Aurikateriina give people back their lives and their dignity is truly inspiring. I need someone like her in my life. Take care everyone and stay well. 😘💕🥰🤗🇦🇺

You are a wonderful person giving your time to help people who have had a tough time. I've a story myself but it feels more like a fiction novel. Like this lady I also lost my first baby but my story began 15 years before. I've now 2 beautiful health children. A boy and a girl, two step children and a granddaughter. I'm married to someone who understands my mental health issues and shares the load with me. The old saying of life goes on is true, ups and downs, the good times and bad. Us women are tough! I wish the best of health , happiness and love to this lady. Truly she's an inspiration ❤
I lost everything too as a young woman, there was no fire but I lost my unborn child and left my partner due to his abuse. I left all my friends and my career, the house I was living in, and was completely depressed and empty inside. I didn’t want to live anymore. I was moved away into a council flat (I’m in the uk so the equivalent of government housing) but I could not look after my home because I was so traumatised and depressed, anxious, grieving. It came to look like many of the houses Auri cleans, so even when I did start to recover a bit, I could not make friends or invite anyone over and when I got a job I was embarrassed because I’d turn up to work in smelly clothes. I finally let my mum and dad come to visit me and help me with my flat, but even then they had to threaten an intervention with the police or mental health team to make me let them in at first. I’m now glad I let them do this and I stay between my mums house and my flat, but it’s better than being alone and in a mess. Thank you for doing what you do Auri, and it is amazing that this woman is such a strong survivor ❤
You're very strong. It's not easy to leave everything behind and it's difficult to let people in when you've already been through so much. I'm glad you have family who care enough to be firm and do their best for you. Don't be ashamed to accept help from them one day they'll need your help. 🥰😘

Didn't expect to be full on crying at a cleaning video, having the 2 people you will love most in your life taken away in such a tragic way is heartbreaking to hear, I am so happy she has had that 2nd chance in life, and although she will always hold the memories of her first love and unborn child in her heart, she can now create a lifetime of new ones with her current partner, and her baby on the way. I truly wish her the best in life, she deserves to be happy.

This story made me cry. I lost my best friend in a house fire on Christmas morning back in 1987 and all those feelings came rushing back. May this young woman come to a place in life where the peace vastly outshines the pain. Our past never leaves us, but we can overcome the hard stuff. I'm glad she was brave enough to ask for help. I thought I had to be strong and never dealt with the pain and depression and it led me to alcoholism. However, I am not clean and sober and have a happy and full life with two beautiful children and a loving husband. You are a true inspiration and it makes be believe that not all heros wear capes. ❤

I understood that woman was 21 years old when flat got on fire and he lost his boyfriend and baby. She would had been young but with proper work situation and steady income, it is possible to get a mortage. Again, if understood right , boyfriend worked with computers and her graduation was near too. Checked old news and found 1 incident from 2014 which could be this fire (but I am not sure, floor and information about the number of deaths match). Terrible tragedy 😢 I hardly ever burn candles, I am worried that I fall asleep...
The house isn't all that dirty but heavily disorganized, which gives my hero Aurii a break from harboring overloading trash she has to exfoliate. It's a lovely home, and I adore the wood fixtures on the floors after it's cleaned, not to mention the kitchen sink Aurii detoxes with paste to a tee. How sweet 😇she adorns the cleaning facility with fresh microfiber cloths and bottles of soap in place🥰.
My parents have covid and my dad’s oxygen level suddenly fell and my family has taken him to the hospital. He us going to spend the night in the ICU (intensive care unit). While I am waiting for news at home, I’m watching Aurikatariina to stay relaxed.
Me and my whole household have covid as I type this, we're doing okay,considering because I have chronic diseases,I'm on the drug Paxlovid along with the President as he has it now,prayers going up for your father and family,God has it all in control,just trust and believe ❤️

Ma'am, did you not hear the part of the letter that Auri read wherein the woman stated that it's now EIGHT YEARS past the fire and her injuries, that she's had all kinds of therapy, that she's met "the love of (her) life," and that she's now pregnant with their first baby? Yes, she's gotten better, YEARS ago!

It really does get better!! My physical health, and mental health, have suffered quite badly. For a long time, my physical disabilities made it near impossible to live alone but being in public just made my mental health worse. Finally, after many years, I live alone with two lovely cats, and I can do all the stuff I hadn't been able to. My neurologist saved my life, and my sanity.

Auri, you are truly incredible and understanding and kind. I am envious of your love of cleaning! Some people who have messy homes are not always depressed (I'm not saying this girl isn't of course) but may have other neurological disorders such as ADHD or Autism, etc. which makes it hard to get things done/have the ability to initiate tasks. I was actually surprised because most of the homes you clean are a lot messier than mine, but looking at this girl's... well. Mine looks a lot like this. Lots of clutter and neglected tasks. I so badly wish I knew someone like you who was closeby to come help me handle it all. Who is just not judgemental and who will not be grossed out by how I live sometimes when things get difficult for me. Still your videos are inspirational and I adore your attitude. You're incredible, really. This poor woman has been through it all. She's incredibly strong to keep going and working on living her life.
Could she be any cuter? I want to be her friend. I bet shes fun to hang out with. I love the Hiiiiiiii at the beginning. I too was horrified when someone tried to change the word trashes for her. Its so cute and I dont want her to change a thing! She speaks 3 languages. She is allowed to mess up a few words. Its so endearing and I love it. I think people who have suffered are some of the most compassionate people because they understand the struggle.

I'm really grateful for these videos. I've learned a lot about cleaning, and am much quicker and using the right products! Still making mistakes here and there, but I am able to be way more time-efficient than before and see better results which is so satisfying.
It takes a very special human being to do what you're doing. I struggled my entire life with a very abusive and alcohol fueled childhood, I've also struggled with substance abuse for the better part of my adult life and now sadly my children are having problems too, I've just gotten my daughter into a food therapy program and a regular therapy program to help her through her struggles as a mother I don't want to see her go through what I went through it breaks my heart. I stumbled on your videos by accident and I am so grateful that I did. You healed yourself through therapy and doing for others selflessly. The world is a better place because of people like you just helping somebody clean their house seems like in my new task but it is huge in the grand scheme of things so thank you for doing what you do and I am so grateful that I found you. My younger brother had died in an accident earlier this year and it crushed me, but after hearing this story it's almost like the pain and emptiness she mentions is nothing compared to mine, I cannot even imagine what it must felt like for this woman. She is so brave for fighting for herself.

As a survivor myself, i still can't understand where we find so much strength. Everybody is fighting their own battle everyday and its really good to know this girl is finding happiness and love again! During ky worst days, my strength came from my pets. I always thought: "i need to be here cuz they just have me to take care of them". Also, i always look for extra support with psychological treatments. My pets died this year, but first they healed me almost completely. Life looks easier nowadays. Stay strong you all!
My pets have helped me so much. It’s like they are truly angels sent from heaven to support us. I hope you will find a new pet when you are ready! 💕🐱🐶

Animals are amazing at intuitively knowing when we are sad, your pets came into your life at the right time, it's so sad you lost them, I can relate, I have lost 2 cats the first from FIP he was only 6 month, turned out the breeder was breeding cats knowing this was an issue, and continued to do so, even after "mysteriously losing her stud and needed a new one" 😡 it makes me so angry. The 2nd I lost was the most beautiful cat you could ever see, he was a Siamese/ragdoll cross, and his personality matched his beauty, so loving and gentle, he was 2, we went to bed and he was gone, he looked like he collapsed mid stride, we were in shock, vets think it was heart failure, and is more common in ragdolls. So I understand the heartbreak it causes, lots of people don't understand how hard it is to lose a pet, I am glad they had helped you enough to be able to deal with the loss, always reach out to someone when you are feeling low, and remember that each time you feel like that, it will pass eventually, but you don't need to ride the wave alone. There will always be someone who wants to listen.

Can we talk about how well designed to finnish bathrooms are. I like the fact of the washroom, shower and toilet are all in an area that you can easily wash it down with a shower head and it keeps your dirty underwear away from your kitchen.(looking at you Brittain)

What a sad story. I am so glad she found love again. I wish her and her partner all the best for the impending birth and hope it all goes well. I, too, survived a house fire and, luckily, my dog and I were not hurt, although I was left standing in the clothes I was wearing. That was eight years ago and I now have another house which I bought 3 years ago. However, I lost my dog a couple of weeks before Covid hit and we went into lockdown for 6 months. In the past two years my mental health has taken a big hit with the onset of depression, anxiety and PTSD due to the loss of my parents to cancer, the house fire, loss of my dog and constant lockdowns (I am now on my own). My house is a total bomb site and I can’t seem to get the motivation to do anything about it most days. Watching Aurikateriina give people back their lives and their dignity is truly inspiring. I need someone like her in my life. Take care everyone and stay well. 😘💕🥰🤗🇦🇺

You are a wonderful person giving your time to help people who have had a tough time. I've a story myself but it feels more like a fiction novel. Like this lady I also lost my first baby but my story began 15 years before. I've now 2 beautiful health children. A boy and a girl, two step children and a granddaughter. I'm married to someone who understands my mental health issues and shares the load with me. The old saying of life goes on is true, ups and downs, the good times and bad. Us women are tough! I wish the best of health , happiness and love to this lady. Truly she's an inspiration ❤
I lost everything too as a young woman, there was no fire but I lost my unborn child and left my partner due to his abuse. I left all my friends and my career, the house I was living in, and was completely depressed and empty inside. I didn’t want to live anymore.
I was moved away into a council flat (I’m in the uk so the equivalent of government housing) but I could not look after my home because I was so traumatised and depressed, anxious, grieving.
It came to look like many of the houses Auri cleans, so even when I did start to recover a bit, I could not make friends or invite anyone over and when I got a job I was embarrassed because I’d turn up to work in smelly clothes.
I finally let my mum and dad come to visit me and help me with my flat, but even then they had to threaten an intervention with the police or mental health team to make me let them in at first.
I’m now glad I let them do this and I stay between my mums house and my flat, but it’s better than being alone and in a mess.
Thank you for doing what you do Auri, and it is amazing that this woman is such a strong survivor ❤

Didn't expect to be full on crying at a cleaning video, having the 2 people you will love most in your life taken away in such a tragic way is heartbreaking to hear, I am so happy she has had that 2nd chance in life, and although she will always hold the memories of her first love and unborn child in her heart, she can now create a lifetime of new ones with her current partner, and her baby on the way. I truly wish her the best in life, she deserves to be happy.

This story made me cry. I lost my best friend in a house fire on Christmas morning back in 1987 and all those feelings came rushing back. May this young woman come to a place in life where the peace vastly outshines the pain. Our past never leaves us, but we can overcome the hard stuff. I'm glad she was brave enough to ask for help. I thought I had to be strong and never dealt with the pain and depression and it led me to alcoholism. However, I am not clean and sober and have a happy and full life with two beautiful children and a loving husband. You are a true inspiration and it makes be believe that not all heros wear capes. ❤

I understood that woman was 21 years old when flat got on fire and he lost his boyfriend and baby. She would had been young but with proper work situation and steady income, it is possible to get a mortage. Again, if understood right , boyfriend worked with computers and her graduation was near too. Checked old news and found 1 incident from 2014 which could be this fire (but I am not sure, floor and information about the number of deaths match). Terrible tragedy 😢 I hardly ever burn candles, I am worried that I fall asleep...
The house isn't all that dirty but heavily disorganized, which gives my hero Aurii a break from harboring overloading trash she has to exfoliate. It's a lovely home, and I adore the wood fixtures on the floors after it's cleaned, not to mention the kitchen sink Aurii detoxes with paste to a tee. How sweet 😇she adorns the cleaning facility with fresh microfiber cloths and bottles of soap in place🥰.
My parents have covid and my dad’s oxygen level suddenly fell and my family has taken him to the hospital. He us going to spend the night in the ICU (intensive care unit). While I am waiting for news at home, I’m watching Aurikatariina to stay relaxed.
Me and my whole household have covid as I type this, we're doing okay,considering because I have chronic diseases,I'm on the drug Paxlovid along with the President as he has it now,prayers going up for your father and family,God has it all in control,just trust and believe ❤️

Ma'am, did you not hear the part of the letter that Auri read wherein the woman stated that it's now EIGHT YEARS past the fire and her injuries, that she's had all kinds of therapy, that she's met "the love of (her) life," and that she's now pregnant with their first baby? Yes, she's gotten better, YEARS ago!

It really does get better!! My physical health, and mental health, have suffered quite badly. For a long time, my physical disabilities made it near impossible to live alone but being in public just made my mental health worse. Finally, after many years, I live alone with two lovely cats, and I can do all the stuff I hadn't been able to. My neurologist saved my life, and my sanity.

Auri, you are truly incredible and understanding and kind. I am envious of your love of cleaning! Some people who have messy homes are not always depressed (I'm not saying this girl isn't of course) but may have other neurological disorders such as ADHD or Autism, etc. which makes it hard to get things done/have the ability to initiate tasks. I was actually surprised because most of the homes you clean are a lot messier than mine, but looking at this girl's... well. Mine looks a lot like this. Lots of clutter and neglected tasks.
I so badly wish I knew someone like you who was closeby to come help me handle it all. Who is just not judgemental and who will not be grossed out by how I live sometimes when things get difficult for me.

I'm really grateful for these videos. I've learned a lot about cleaning, and am much quicker and using the right products! Still making mistakes here and there, but I am able to be way more time-efficient than before and see better results which is so satisfying.
It takes a very special human being to do what you're doing. I struggled my entire life with a very abusive and alcohol fueled childhood, I've also struggled with substance abuse for the better part of my adult life and now sadly my children are having problems too, I've just gotten my daughter into a food therapy program and a regular therapy program to help her through her struggles as a mother I don't want to see her go through what I went through it breaks my heart. I stumbled on your videos by accident and I am so grateful that I did. You healed yourself through therapy and doing for others selflessly. The world is a better place because of people like you just helping somebody clean their house seems like in my new task but it is huge in the grand scheme of things so thank you for doing what you do and I am so grateful that I found you.
