Wait how does this kind of make sense gameplay wise. His literal whole kit is based around chucking random shit into crowds and having it hit everyone.
Fun fact for moon knight, you can grapple straight down, and you will shoot up into the air. Fun tech you can do to get out of trouble if you are getting dove or ulted.
I like how most characters feel really strong. A few need buffs and a couple abilities might need slight nerfs, but I like the philosophy of every character being good at what they do
With wolverine you wanna flank and kidnap tanks with shift and just shred them with % health damage. He can't jump squishies like other melees, but god help any dive tank trying to get a backline defended by wolvie@@MightGuy15
@@MightGuy15 I've had more than a handful of games where a wolverine hard carried the game. Was completely immortal and killing everyone. I think that he requires certain parameters to really unlock his potential, but that potential is immense.
I dont think any OP characters need any nerfs because it will cause other characters with OP kits to become OP. A lot and I mean A LOT of abilities are broken in this game. Magik ult, Jeff Dive, Strange Portal, Spiderman Web Swing, Moonknight basic attack, Loki heal zone. Like nearly everyone in B tier and above has some part of their kit that is just insane. Just characters like Wolverine, Widow, Storm who might need some tweaking to make them more viable.
@@MightGuy15 On the bright side, Luna works wonders with him since you can put your mark on him and just focus on your teammates while he's diving the backline.
just so you know, moonknight doesn't go invisible for half a second, you just keep running out of the invisibility field that you're supposed to stand in.
Little tip for moon knight ult, throw the ult first and then throw the Ankh. Most of the time with a good placement of the ultimate you can lock up at least one kill, if not more with dumping his kit into the area too
I actually think he's in an ok place. he dies very quickly in duels without a good tool to escape/self heal. and the longer the game goes, the more people will learn to shoot his ankhs which just leaves him with a very slow projectile. he only farms damage on low level players or people too stupid to counter his equipment
@@epsilon1372 yeah, really good on a grouped up payload. also chaining all 3 abillities on squishies melts them, you just have to play like an ambusher
You can tell how much knowledge/experience an enemy team has by playing moon knight. If they’re new they will never shoot your ankh, then you can farm damage and kills. But once you play a team that knows what they’re doing, they’ll get rid of your ankh immediately and make moon knight feel balanced. I played back-to-back games with moon knight in one I went 42-5 and the next I went like 18-7. I think he’s ok.
@@hiatus2286 even if a team knows to shoot ankhs you can still hide them on angles and set up multiple of them. You don't need to be bouncing off the entire team for it to be broken lol.
😂moon is an assassin, you go on best angle cuz you have 3 mobility and drop anke on them. front line fighting is kinda meh. since moon will always do alot of damage so he is big target. but majority he is very dog 1v1 when enemy notice you.
I really love the intro to all the characters. As someone who doesn't love playing hero shooters, it makes the gameplay easier to follow and more enjoyable
This video popped up on my feed & could not remember why I used to watch Mr.Fruit … But then he started making sound effects & it teleported me back to my Titan Fall 2 days … Great to see your still making videos 👌
Other Players: so are you just mashing buttons or do you actually know how to play low-key? Moon Knight Mains: I said I was gonna hit the buttons harder and it was gonna work, and it's f*ckin' working
A good trick while using your ult is to ult and then immediately place your ankh in it , it basically has a pull back effect on characters so the enemy team will be inside the ult that much longer
btw, the invis that cloak and dagger gives you lasts longer if you just stay in the little circle area it spawns when you use it. it actually lasts a decent bit of time
Idk if its just me but i swear the collision on the ankhs is weird. I'll aim it at a spot but i feel like it always either ends up overshooting or getting caught on the tiniest smidge of wall or map. Fun character tho, feels balanced in how hard his projectiles can be to land on a single target far away, def meant for more clustered comps; the perfect counter to characters like peni rocket loki and generally characters who bunch up and/or have a lot of summons
I've only met two kinds of Moon Knight players in this game. Moon Knights who just throw the ankh, fail to do anything meaningful, always go off alone, and seem dead more than anyone else in the game, and Moon Knights who do that BUT ALSO they're up against an enemy team that ignores the ankhs and literally stands in the middle of them, taking free damage, confused as to why they're dying. To date, I have never had players ignore my ankhs but I look forward to the day.
Wolverines are not backline divers. They are tank busters and useful for pulling a single enemy out of the enemy pack into the ally pack to be burned down quickly by the team.
Moonknight advice when defending against them pushing a caravan. Ult on top of it centered....then look for what direction they run away from your ult and drop and ank pulling them back towards your ult and throw rangs at the ank = win if they are on overtime.
No one is dying because of Jeff, gotta focus healers heavy in this game. Jeff can single handedly keep a whole team healthy if he only focuses on healing.
The funny thing to me is that the fevs KNOW THAT this is broken and they basically make it slight easier to know if an ankh is in place cause your character will always calls out an ankh
Adam Warlock is actually worse to fight than Mercy, because he doesn't revive dead characters around him, he makes an area where everyone who dies respawns. Manny people don't get this and think that you have to be in range of your dead team mates to res them, but no, you can actually flank the enemy and make your team appear behind them after death. It lasts for 8 sec, I think, so you can put it down somewhere before a team wipe, as well, bringing your team back instantly when they die. You essentially just make a new respawn area. There is no limit to the amount of times your team can be res'ed this way, either, as far as I know, so you can get a lot of fast respawns within the 8 sec time limit. It's sick when you know how to use it. Many people see it and think: "Mercy ult". But no, it's Rocket's respawn station as an ult, which is actually way more useful if you ask me. :3
Hey man I probably haven’t seen a video of yours since like the first 2 years of ow but I’m happy to see you’re doing well and it feels just like the good ol days when I clicked the video and saw the intro have a good one brother 🙌
I love moon knight, he’s just more reliant on his tank being aggressive and drawing aggro away from vantage points in order to get the crispy burst damage he can do
Wolverine is very specialized he destroys tanks since he does % of max health damage. So if the enemy doesn't have two tanks or the tank isn't the problem wolverine isn't the play. Otherwise go wolverine and go around kidnapping or ruining the day of any tank that jumps your healer
I find that Moon Knight really suffers against dive comps. And teams who are even kind of aware of their surroundings can counter him easily. He absolutely feasts in lower skilled lobbies/quick play.
6:00 No I'm pretty sure Groots ult has a DOT. 13:00 Fruit just confirmed a question of mine. Good to know you can bounce between two ankhs possibly to catch people.
I've been maining moon knight and I wouldn't call him brain dead, he's a character who naturally performs well on the damage and team fight front and doesn't need good aim. His skill gap primarily comes from positioning, movement, and ankh placement, a good moon knight can setup a team fight to be in your team's advantage before it starts, and then move to another position to maintain the health gap and occasionally pick off squishy targets. Scarlett witch is what a truly brain dead character looks like
Ankh placement is important because it’s 2 tap, also positioning is super important but also skill for the 1v1s (some you can just throw an ankh at your feet but others you need to shoot like Ironman and storm usually)
I think 3 or 4 times yesterday I said "I'm gettin' REAL fuckin' tired of Moon Knights that can't hit a shot getting kills by ONLY aiming at their ankh."
