I find it incredible that Americans cannot drink until the age of 21. A person becomes an adult at 18 and with that should come all the rights of being an adult. Thank goodness I was born in the UK.
At one time, Americans could smoke and drink at age 18.
The America age for drinking was raised in 1984, and buying cigarettes was raised in 2019.

I used to do both of these things before quitting, and I know that people who don't do these things aren't missing much, especially smoking, which can shorten lives.
