The part where the corkscrew is sticking up through that bad guy's chin, it's missing. Too graphic, I guess. The look on the bad guy's face, is priceless!
The original TV series with Edward Woodard was very good. There was a short lived series very similar to “The Equalizer” on around the same time called “Stingray”. He drove a black C2 corvette, helped people in situations similar to “The Equalizer” but only would ask the victims a favor if he needed it.

2nd one didn't compare to the first even, the villain in first equalizer was an incredible counter character to Denzel,s...acted impeccably.
