I remember buying this CD from Hastings and couldn't wait. This one was one of the first I replayed. Had to replay and replay and memorized Layzie's verse. From when I discovered them, in 5th grade, Bone Thugs ~N~ Harmony is still my number one rap group.
They have all kinds of songs structured differently. Sonetimes its a solo song, some times is just 2 members, some times its 3, or 4, or all 5. They have songs like Everyday Thang where Wish and Krayzie have regular verses and then Layzie, Wish and Flesh go back and forth. Or Days Of Our Lives where the first verse is Layzie/Wish/Krayzie, second verse is Layzie/Wish/Bizzy, and the last verse is Bizzy/Krayzie. I could give plenty more examples...some times a member will have 2 different verses while the other members just have 1. I personally like the diversity
I was around for their career so I'm not one of these people unearthing Bone Thugs n Harmony but their harmony and synergy is so good that there's a lot of these songs that I didn't really notice until years later was missing members or only had certain members on. But it's not like you're gonna expect every Wu-Tang member on every Wu-Tang song. It's not always necessary.
BTHN Resurrection came out in 2000. This album had a lot of song without Wish and Krayzie. They were on tour for Krayzie Bone's Thug Mentality album when they started recording. I would recommend Show Em off this album. It had all 5 members on it

And Flesh went to the prison *after* Resurrection came out, which is probably why he's completely absent from the official music video versions of Paper Paper, Change The World, and Can't Give It Up(Yes, they filmed a music video for that song), but Wish is thankfully present in all of the music videos both on audio and visually so. Flesh is on the audio for The Weed Song music video, but not physically present because he caught time in the pen(8 long-ass years of an original like 10-year sentence, by the way G). And for presumably label-related issues, Bizzy isn't in the Weed Song video, and most of his verse got dubbed over with some lame "weed product" skit, which is bullshit. They added reverb to the audio for it too, which just makes it worse, and really only the video itself is any good to me personally. Because at least Bizzy didn't get censored on that version in probably the dumbest way possible.
Bone has been my favorite ‘band’ since I was a young teenager. When people ask me what my favorite band is I get made fun of because I’m a millennial white girl. Sorry I like good music! Nobody can beat Bone.

Weird construction..check out THE RIGHTEOUS ONES off the same album. It's like Layzie,Bizzy,Flesh then Bizzy again I think.. NO wish still tho.. for good Wish check out Pump Pump or I like that old sound on CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.. believe it or not No Kray on that one but the other 4 are.

It’s because Wish and Flesh are the weakest lyrically in bone! They’re decent, but Layzie is better than both of them and Krayzie and Bizzy are lyrical juggernauts!
