Thanks, but I find some of your videos kind of confusing because you talk about mixing up big barrels but then I don't know if this mixture is for your 50 gallon barrels or for a 1 gallon mixture I'm confused nothing new though

    Hi Don
How often do you feed your bees. Do you feed them the whole year or just at different intervals throughout the year? I'm a new beekeeper and thought that I should only feed during the winter months.
    Thanks
    William

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if my math is correct:
2 TBSP. per ~30 Gallons equals about
15-20 eyedropper drops per one gallon.
    (fewer drops for thicker liquids)

    Hi Don, great video thanks.
Does it matter if its BROWN or WHITE sugar when feeding the bees?? Thanks

White, always! Brown has molasses in it that can hurt the bees

How much of the oils would you add per gallon of sugar water? I only have three hives and mix sugar water a couple gallons at a time.

When do you switch over to Megabee? In the summer when nothing is blooming?

    Hi DON..
Installed a new 5 frame nuc into a hive 5 days ago, started feeding this through one of your no drown feeders yesterday and they have finished .5 ltr already!! They seem to love it.. Getting cold here at night so maybe they need a little extra, tonight forecast is 5 degrees C.
Should I stop feeding it at any point or will they stop taking it?
Also should I stop using the in hive no drown feeder at any point and swap to outside the hive or is this ok?
    Thanks Don.. Love your videos.

    DON!
I put my feeder about 10 feet away and the bees havent caught onto it in two days....
do I need to put it further away for them to catch on? Or have I done something wrong...
