For all those who are here because they want to make their wedding dress one day: YOU CAN DO IT. I was a beginner when I decided I would make my own wedding dress. And I finished a gorgeous garment with a tulle skirt made of 10 layers, a long train, a backless top, lace sleeves... My perfect gown!! And I didn't need a professional machine, silk or anything rare. I modified a pattern for the top and hand-drew the skirt. It is possible!! Go for a pattern and fabrics that will help "cover" your lack of skill, and that way you will stress less hahahah
You've just exhibited what I always tell people about wedding dresses: doesn't have to be expensive, can totally LOOK expensive, doesn't need to be super lace covered pearl adorned, rhinestone covered to look absolutely beautiful. The secret is in the volume of fabric. Draping a big circle gives that big dramatic royal look.
Hey! Could you make a vid that breaks down how to cut out fabric?? Like, how to measure it properly so that it turns into real clothes lool. I find difficulty with the taking of measurements to then cutting out the actual fabric. Maybe making a video that shows you doing this on a much smaller scale?? I'd even love to see a video of you planning a design and creating in real time! Thanks for sharing! (Just found your channel 😁❤️)

I just wanna make this dress, wear a blouse underneath, and then go to school because long skirts and bridal-esque looks are my jam. Im currently reworking my wardrobe with more things that I made or thrifted so this is perfect for my aesthetic and wardrobe

Hey, for those on a tight budget make your lining from a queen or king size bed sheet set, the mainstay microfiber ones are super soft and are 20 bucks.
I just ordered new fabrick and can't wait to be delivered to sew this beautiful dress I made one dress before out of my mind and its not that bad looking but I want to sew dresses that are very fancy like royal gown and other can't wait tnx for that toturial its my dream dress!

How do you adapt the size of the measurments? You seem to fit in a european 36/38 and i'm sure with my 42 size i won't fit with the measurement you gave 😅 Else the dress is amazing!
If you give more details on how you got the measurements for the pattern pieces, it will be easier to follow your tutorials. For example, 1/4 of waist size, 1/8 bust size, etc
