Literally the best thing I've ever purchased for my garden. I use it every day. It is 100% worth the investment. 5" auger is my most used. Especially during dahlia planting season. I've got about 700 cultivars. It makes getting them in the ground soooo much easier.

First, what beautiful gardens! Second, y'all make these intimidating augers look absolutely effortless! I am looking forward to trying one soon!!

I have one of these augers and they are worth every penny. I love the hex head so it doesn’t spin in the drill. The lesser quality augers have round heads. (I also have two of those). Now I need to get a drill with a handle and a couple more augers. Thanks for the wonderful video.

For a small garden, I'd recommend a corded *heavy duty* drill with a handle. Batteries will eventually wear out, and they will only increase in price. A cord is a drag, but for a small garden, it does make sense. It isn't feasible with as much planting as you guys do though.

I had to do this and the corded drill worked perfectly

How does it work with rooted soil ?

Powers right through - just have to be careful with larger roots.

Hi, can you please tell me which one you bought? I live in nc too and the clay soil is so hard to dig

Hey there! We bought the 7" and 9" augers with the heavy duty tip. They truly do power through the heavy clay!
