Aurelie, your work is always so beautiful with a high level of professionalism, and all off of this without using vectors. You're the only artist I've seen that can pull that off with such wonderful results. Question: Do you go straight to product print with raster images or do you vectorize first? I've enjoyed all of your free and paid tutorials. Thanks for making these complicated concepts so accessible.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for enjoying my tutorials! I'm glad that I can make these concepts accessible for you.
To answer your question, it really depends on the project. If I'm working on a logo or any design that requires scalability and flexibility, I would use Illustrator to create vector graphics. But for most of my print work, I prefer to work with raster images in Procreate. This allows me to create detailed and textured artwork with a high level of control. As long as the resolution is set appropriately, the print results are usually excellent.
I hope this answers your question!

I’m so glad you’ve decided to build your TH-cam channel. Would be nice to focus a bit on your notebook type sketches in future posts. I have trouble imagining what type forms look like. When drawing type, I suck at it. Especially on the part you mentioned about the filigree and trying to keep consistent thickness throughout where the thins and thicks need to be similar on every letter. Looking forward for the Little Mermaid piece in the next video.

I'm working on my iPad with Procreate and no matter what I tried I coun't get your free brushes. I tried saving them to various places including dropbox, my files, my drive, download folder and still nothing! I got the files but couldn't upload them to Procreate when I go into the procreate app and choose Actions, add, insert a file. nothing I do will allow it to upload to my procreate brushes.
What else may I do to fix this?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble uploading the free brushes to Procreate. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
      1. Make sure you have the latest version of Procreate installed on your iPad.
      2. Double-check that you are saving the brush files in the correct format. Procreate brushes typically come in .brush or .brushset file formats.
      3. Email me a screenshot of your issue at hello@aureliemaron.com and we’ll see if we can help.

I’m having trouble with your chalk brush. I have the document set to the exact dimensions and resolution as yours and the brush setting as large as it goes. The brush is not expanding when pressure is applied. It is staying at a fixed width (very thin) no matter how much pressure I put down. I have not changed anything in the brush settings. I also tried tilting my pen to see if it makes a difference. No go. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the chalk brush. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
      1. Make sure you have the latest version of Procreate installed on your device and are using a pressure sensitive pencil.
      2. Reset the brush settings by tapping on the "Reset" button in the brush settings panel. This will restore the default settings for the brush.
      3. If none of the above steps work, try deleting the brush and reinstalling it. To do this, swipe left on the brush in the brush library and tap on the "Delete" button. Then, reinstall the brush using the original download link.
