Oh my! Kate getting feisty with the cow - SO cute. Thank you for sharing what is growing in the winter fields. Kales are such a hardy crop and full of vitamins (turnips good for vitamins too). We grow kale on our Rocky Mountain home. Had kale "self seed" ones come up on their own last spring! Wow - they are hardy. We got to -31 degrees F. last winter! Good stuff. thanks for sharing your beautiful Kate - love that little dog :) Oh - those pheasants are wonderful too!
It's striking how Sean smiles so happily when he looks at Kate.👨💝🐶 Kate is an excellent sheepdog and a loving, strong- willed woman. It's so wonderful to see them running across the prairie.🐶💖🥹
I was already laughing knowing whats coming ! KATE LMAO with her snaps at the cows ! every time it makes me howl ! you silly girl :) Cheers Sean and fam
Sean, I'm glad Stacy and Cole are doing well. You too. Losing some sleep is to be expected, but the joy that Cole brings is all worth it. Hi, Kate. You did a fabulous job today and always a smile on your face. You are wonderful. Just love you. Kate the great. That'll do. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ❤️🐾 Hi, Monty. I love your food toy. You certainly are good at making it spite out food. Good Boy ❤️🐾
Kate truly is an amazing dog! You’re so lucky to have such a lovable companion who brings so much peace. Wishing you and Kate endless happiness and wonderful moments together! 🐶❤
Thanks Sean for another lovely video of you and Kate out and about with the sheep- really calms me to see the beautiful Scottish countryside- glad Cole and mom are well🏴
If anyone deserves their own farm it is these folks, the work, the diligence, the care of lands and livestock. And this applies to Sean and Stacey and Cole, also! :-) Kate snapping at cows, and racing around had me in stitches with laughter and admiration! [I am sure she rarely needs to actually bite at anything]. It is heartening to know that this sort of world still exists, with all the automation, the impersonal robots etc.
I so do enjoy your videos they do make me happy to see the sweet dogs running around Kate is so precious but I love your dog so much I enjoy watching them thank you for explaining things
Kate is such a beauty and she can still get out there and run with the best of them. Glad to hear that Stacy and Cole are doing well. I remember many sleepless nights when my baby was little. I am not sure you ever sleep soundly again after having children. You are always waiting to hear the slightest noise. My daughter is 30 now and when she visits I still feel like I am more alert! Thanks for another great video.
Love these videos. Wish I could have had my dog at work. They make everything more fun even the hard stuff. ❤ Glad everything is going well Stacy you and Koleare doing well🥰 ❤
I loved seeing the beautiful pheasants!❤ I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and would see and hear them all the time. Now I haven’t seen them in years. Kate did not disappoint with the teeth snapping. I was waiting for it! Love to Stacy and Kole as well as you and the dogs, Sean. ❤❤❤
Has Kate ever herded cattle? She seems to want to. Beautiful video as usual. It was nice to see Monty enjoy the toy. I am glad Stacy and Cole are doing well.
I always love your videos. Kate the Great never disappoints, with her zoomies, smile, intense stare, and her snappy snaps at the cows. So glad to hear that you all are doing well. Babies are such a blessing. ❤️
Whatever you’re doing with the camera/filming, it’s very impressive the way you capture the dog in a moving vehicle. Quite professional. It’s not easy filming a moving object that doesn’t make the viewer dizzy!
I know I said it on the short, but the timing of her making contact with that sheep and the bird squawking was too perfect! And the blackfaced sheep making sure he wasn't at the rear of the pack! 😅 Glad alls well
Just love watching you and your dogs.....so does my 7 month old collie!! I put on one of your clips about training your dog when out walking and she sat and listened. Even recorded her watching you 😂
6:75+ Just one look from Kate over the brow of that little knoll, and the dozens of sheep half a mile away on the low ground all start streaming to the left. 😊
Looks like I can't get Ridgeline in the US but I sent them a note thanking them for supporting your channel. I'm sure you don't mind that I consider your dogs as "our dogs". Stay well.
💕Kate will always have my heart! Watching her clacking at the cows always makes me laugh. She's just letting them know she is the boss😂 Thank you for the update on Kole and Stacey. I like that you spell Kole's name with a "K" like the way Kate's name is spelled. Kate and Kole. Kole and Kate. I was wondering when the breeding would get started. You said it's usually around "November 5th." That is a date that's come and gone and one which I am choosing to forget. IYKYK
08:24 Look at that face! Made me think of Indian war paint. 😅 As always, an excellent video. Love watching you work with Kate. She is such a sweetie! 💜
The turnip crop fodder for the sheep actually clears up a mystery for me. Many years ago, with my first collie, I used to take him for walks through some fields and woods near where I lived, and in one of the fields they were growing turnips (which I now know were swedes from their size and colour) and at the time, I thought it was a food crop for people that the farm was growing so when I saw that a few months later after they had matured and been left in the ground, the farm had let their sheep into it (they might have been cows, as the farm had both - and at one point they had some pigs in the wood.) At the time, I thought that there must have been something wrong with the turnips, or that they had failed to sell them to a supermarket distributor and had decided to feed them to the livestock. It never occurred to me that the crop might have been deliberately grown for them.
Yes us too in Ohio USA. Never thought it was for fodder for the sheep! Excellent video, Sean! Give Stacey and the Main Man Cole all our love freo the USA!
Hi Poppa ☺️ 👨👩👦 . What kind of lovely birds? Now what is Kate looking for exactly while checking the cattle? 🐶 That one black faced sheep with the stripes on its face- different. Glad Stacey and Cole are doing well. Tyfs🙏👍💗
While Tess Siobhan was not my favourite BC girl, she was my first fullbred BC and Kate so much reminds me of Tess in looks and maybe intelligence and sweetness. Though I didn't have a farm for her to herd sheep or cattle (like her family did), she did herd small animals that made their way into our yard and occasionally ducks and geese at the large pond at the park not too far from us (though the park mgr. didn't like her "messing around with his birds"!). Did Kate, Storm, or Echo attempt to herd anything other than sheep? How do BCs handle retirement? I was thinking of adopting a retired female (to save her from being euthanised just because she's elderly and I'm not sure I can keep up with a puppy or younger dog now. I also need a gal who's less likely to escape by jumping over my fence. I had an Aussie/BC-Gem the Empath and all my BCs lived to be 13 or older.). I have a friend named Cole. He has 4 other brothers-one, Philip that looks like Prince Harry-and so far has 3 nephews-no girls yet). Great name.
Kate is indeed the greatest sheepdog in the world. Not bad for a grandma dog.
Kate is such an excellent working dog…will never tire of watch her snapping at cows 😂
This old girl really has a lot of energy. She definitely puts a smile on my face ❤❤
Glad to hear all are healthy and well.
Loss of sleep is universal...ha ha All the best to you and your family

I love Kate because she looks a lot like our old dog Katy. She died at nearly 15. Still miss her so much. ❤🇦🇺
Awwww! I was hoping for a glimpse of your new baby :o(
Gorgeous girl, Kate ❤
Loved Kate zooming while you fed the heifers. Does Kate ever do her crocodile snap at the sheep the way she does it at the heifers?
❤❤❤

Kate plushie provides information on shipping dates, so no problem.
Why is Kate dashing up and down the byre? 😂 Excess collie energy?
Just got in from work...sorry I'm late!
I wonder how Kate looks when she’s just chilling 🤣😃
My BC is called Scruffy. Dad full on working BC and mum working bearded collie.
Proper handful but clever..

Do you know Scottish land crocodiles are very dangerous and can turn on there master anytime.😅
Yes! They’re even worse than the wild haggis!
Kate is gorgeous
