I think the craziest and greatest part about movies is there ability to make you have these false memories. You look back on your past and think it looks as cinematic as these movies and it connects you to your memories even more. However you then have to downside of it makes your current life feel really dull at times.
Youre right! Ive always struggled between accepting realism or striving for romanticism, it seems like the two are complete opposites and life forces you to pick one or the other. I say dont worry about it! Dont chase dreams, dont starve in reality, just get busy living! Get busy living or get busy dying. The present moment is as romantic as any or these movies and is as real as the ground beneath your feet! Be both a realist and romantic, live in the real moment, and make it beautiful.
Its been a rough 10 years for me with some highs and real deep lows.. I thankfully know that the worst is behind but days of feeling down are still a bit too frequent for me tbh lol.. Its content creators like you monsieur Breton that for reason give me the motivation to snap out of those moments and find my strengh back. Really, I cant thank you enough!
