No, it’s not expensive. Much poorer countries like India manage to mass produce healthy lunches for children despite have limited funds. The US, being one of the richest countries on earth, has absolutely no excuse not to feed kids healthy for free. Whole plant foods are not expensive.
@@malcontentmongreloid5486 quite a correction, India actually isnt poor. There's a difference between high poverty rate and the country being poor. We have enough resources and govt. also has enough capital to make changes, India is just not well managed. Rich are too rich and poor are too poor, the gap is huge. The industries that mass produce healthy school lunches are governed with enough money and resources, which is why they manage to do what they do.
