Amazing video! So sad that star wars land got replaced by Lion King. Disneyland Paris definitely deserves more. Can't wait for the new Castle show! The new main street projections are going to be incredible, just like in the US parks!
“The Lion King” is a superior franchise to “Star Wars”. Galaxy’s Edge was a huge flop in the USA, due to it being exactly the same on each coast and just being overbuilt.
@@ChienaAvtzon 100% agree with you but the Lion king should go in Frontierland where there’s already a show about this movie. The walt Disney studios park already has Marvel Avengers campus, so star wars would have been a really cool addition.
@@disneylandfireworksshows - Galaxy’s Edge would not have been cool, because it was a scaled down version of the biggest flop in the American parks. Galaxy’s Edge was only considered for Paris, because it is cheaper to replicate a preexisting ride, than design something new from scratch. Not to mention, Disney had not yet known the American audience would reject the land and hotel. Walt Disney Studios/Disney Adventure World needs an exclusive immersive land to give it an identity. Similar to what Cars Land did for Disney California Adventure, back in 2012. The Pride Lands will do just that. As it is based on the most successful Disney animated film, and features a ride system Paris has been lacking for decades.
Sad that Disney blew their chance to make Star Wars land successful. WDW’s Rise of the Resistance used to have 4 hour wait times now, now it had a 30-45 minute wait times and that is a bad sign when the attraction is only 5 years old. Wished Paris got their own unique planetary location for each resort such as Naboo, where Disneyland with its dry sunny climate should have gotten Tatooine while WDW gets Endor since Hollywood Studios already had the shield bunker for Star Tours.
Yes, if they knew what they were doing and were in tune with Star Wars fans they could’ve made each park a different star was planet with original characters. They still COULD do it but they chose to go in other directions with Star Wars 🤔
A flume attraction does not fit Lion King. I feel the only reason this attraction was developed to look and feel like Splash Mountain is to entice Tokyo Disneyland to change over.
@LLLLLLLLLucas Remember Splash Mountain had a (stump) icon over the drop the Lion King has the rock over the drop and Tianas Bayou has nothing over the drop. But now I understood the drop on Tianas is a Saltmine at the end Lousiana crossing into the desert of Frontierland
All that is left to know is when will the Lion king land open at Disneyland, Paris
Yup and updates to the former planet Hollywood
With the current building pace it will be 2030.😢
Great recap with a few laughs! Another great video!
Indeed
Glad you enjoyed it

Been saying this for agesssss, would make people travel the world to go to each planet

It makes me so angry they want to build an Icon for Lion King hovering over the drop and they couldnt do that for Tiana's Bayou
What on earth do you mean?
You need to explain yourself better.
