I have to admit that this method is a bit suicidal. it took me around 7-8 takes to get down there and back to safety. An alternative is to drag a radiation immune mount down there, grab an egg, and use the mount as a shield as you try to run away. I found that it was too much trouble to get a mount down there. I guess you could also make metal huts down there as a safe house, make nooblet's wyvern comb to try to stall them a bit, or simpler than that, a line of pillars about a foundation apart with a ceiling on top so they can't climb over it.

I found a pretty good method, I brought down a spino with 15k healt and %300 damage with cryopod, released it in the nest, picked up the egg then killed all rock drakes who came to nest.
you can use dimetrodons instead of air conditioners, keep in mind it still takes about the same amount of air conditioners if not more. But Dimetrodons are way more cost effective than getting obsidian. Dimetrodons act like air conditioners.
It all comes down to personal preferences. Each map has a unique environment and creature in it. By default the island is good cause its the starter map and where you learn the basics. I personally prefer valguero cause it has a good amount of flat terrain and it has such a pretty environment. Ragnarok is more popular liked as it has WAY more than val and the other maps although it doesn't have the rock drakes from ab, the phoenix from scorched or the extinction/genesis creatures but it is the biggest map so far if I'm mot mistaken until gensis part 2 comes out that is.

However, if you want the easiest one and more variant creature, you can choose ragnarok to play in. And for the island i think its not rly different with ragnarok. While valguer, ive never played that map before, so if youre a beginner i would reccommend u play in ragnarok, but if you want some better and harder yet intense experience, you should play aberration :D

My friend and I lost our level 250 and 170 spinos to reaper queens while finding eggs, we were low because of the endless number of nameless attacking us and we were lost and couldn’t find eggs. We lost our hazard suits down there and we eventually just deleted ark because we were tired of starting from scratch.
That isn’t a big problem nowadays, because If you press the consume button on a fertilized egg it will say “are you sure you want to consume this item”.
Bradiator09 No. you can’t. Aberration doesn’t allow the transfer of flyers, they're completely disabled. You can spawn them in with commands, but they're very broken.
